Our routine services involve the full inspection, disassembly, cleaning, NDT analysis, and repair of all turbine parts. We can perform removal of rotor blades, straightening and balancing of rotor shafts, and unstacking of built-up rotors.

Schmidt Industries routinely heat treats our materials and performs sophisticated repair work: jobs that other companies refuse to do.

Schmidt Industries commands a huge array of abilities for machining and production needs. We have a VTL capacity of 14’ 5”. Our CNC spindle lathe turning capacity is 10’ 5” diameter x 50’. The boring mill capacity is 12’ diameter x 40’. Our lift capability is sixty tons.

We fabricate our steel replacement components exactly to OEM specifications, and all of our steel is manufactured by steel mills and is OEM-certified. Material certifications accompany every shipment. Our parts are designed and made specifically for high-temperature service, and this commitment to detail is just another factor that separates Schmidt Industries from the competition.
