Larger diameters optics made to very high specs – the processing center Spheroline® SLG 301 meets this fundamental requirement like no other machine of its class. Large optics up to a diameter of 480 mm are manufactured on this machine for use in lithography equipment and other demanding applications. Key to the success of the SLG 301 is the kinematic concept of the machine consisting of the two parallel spindles for the tools and a workpiece spindle which can be positioned, swiveled and shifted to enable a wide variety of processing steps. In one process cycle you can combine rough grinding, fine grinding, centering, truncation, drilling and measuring. And the tools are changed automatically in the machine. The unique combination of these features ensures a high flexibility which enables production of simple to complex spherical optics. High utilization of the machine is guaranteed.

The Spheroline SLG 120 is a compact and versatile grinding machine for spherical and aspherical grinding of lenses of up to 120 mm. The combination of direct driven and high-rpm spindles facilitates highly dynamic as well as precise processing. The result is high speed at highest quality. The kinematics and computer supported setup make it possible to manufacture the whole spectrum, from flat surfaces and spheres to complex aspherical lenses, in an economical way. The SLG 120 has been designed as a platform machine and can be freely configured to cater to the individual requirements and even highly demanding lenses. On top, optional packages offer e.g. fast automation, sophisticated in-situ measurement, balance control as well as an additional wheel grinding spindle for aspheres. Highly efficient use of space and great flexibility in configuration combined with highly dynamic and precise grinding, make SLG 120 a great and economical choice for any production.

The Spheroline SLG 60 is the ideal choice for manufacturing optics in the range of 2 to 60 mm diameter. The extremely robust and compact machine features most modern CNC controls and advanced process technology.
