Filter bags for the open filtrationFiltration using gravity, not the pressure of any pumps. are used for small charges, if the use of mechanical filters seems to be unprofitable. They are simply attached to the outlet, run to the full load without overflowing and are easy and quick to exchange.

We use monoflament textiles from selected suppliers to manufacture our pro- ducts. The materials are subjected to continuous inspection, which ensures that high and consistent quality are maintained at all times. The monofilament textile comprises fat and even (monofile) fibres. The values for the monofilament textile openings are defined exactly and their measurements checked. The mono- filament textile is heat-set and this provides the mesh with its stability. It can hold defined particle sizes back on the cloth‘s surface. Sieving is basically grading defined particle sizes with an efective selectivity. We recommend monoflament textiles made of polyester for acids and monoflament textiles made of polyamide for bases. We can also provide polypropylene and many other materials upon request. We recommend our polyamide monoflament textile with carbon fbres as an antistatic option.

The robust wire cloth is made of stainless steel, is extremely heat-resistant and has very good mechanical stability. Metal wire cloths have the same structure and the same fun- ctions as a textile monofile wire cloth. The wires of a metal wire cloth also criss-cross at right angles and alternate con- tinuously between above and below. The result is a cloth with square mesh openings and a fixed mesh size. Particles with a defined size can be held back on its surface.

While deformable particles can push through a monofilament textile, they are held back in three-dimensional needle felts. Needle felts have a three-dimensional filter structure, whe- reby the filter properties apply both on the surface and th- roughout the depth. This enables deep filtration for very large accumulations of solids and higher fow rates. The needle felt is heattreated on the surface in order to virtually prevent fib- res getting into the filtered material. The specifed pore size is practically unmeasurable; a nominal filter fineness that is based on empirical values is specifed here.

Sieve inserts for open filtration made of monoflament textile. Sieve inserts are preferred where screening bags cannot provide sufcient screening surface area and where using vi- Filter inserts for use in lattice boxes are used wherever waste- brating screens or bag filters appears to be uneconomical. Paper former filters, folding filters and funnels from monofilament textile are perfect for open filtration of small batches in laboratories or technical centres. Paper former filters are made of solid paper and have a monofilament textile insert on the bottom. They are mainly used to screen varnishes, paints, glues, etc. The former filters are ideal for screening small quantities such as those that occur in laboratories. We can also provide holders and dispensers as accessories.

We manufacture various designs of screen hoses, screen nozzles and screen cylinders for all known eddy-current screening machines. Screen hoses, screen nozzles and screen cylinders are made of plastic cloth, polyamide, polyester or conductive cloth with carbon fibres. The mesh sizes start at 1 µm and go up to 5000 µm. A masked longitudinal seam (e.g. silicone seal), sewn in cords and labels with the mesh openings and the running direction are also possible upon request.

This filter system is perfectly suited for fast and clean filtration. If you do not want to clean your filter housing between product changes, if you want to protect the user and the working environment from toxicity, if hygiene and cleanliness are very important, then the clean-pack filter system is the right choice. The most common reason for using the clean packs is the elimination of the annoying cleaning effort and the associated time saving. Depending on the throughput quantity, we have the clean packs with 1, 3 or 7 filter candles in lengths 5 ", 10" and 20 ". We are also happy to offer alternative candle materials as well as suitable filter housings.

These candles have a pleated surface that enables a long service life if filtration performance is high.

Ring filter bags are used for filtration with closed bag filter housings. Our ring filter bags can be used in all commercially available bag filters. A galvanised steel ring is sewn into the bag neck as standard. This enables the ring filter bag to be inserted easily into the bag filter housing and ensures that it remains secure. All R1/ R2 size ring filter bags are provided with two integrated straps for easy removal. Modifcations such as stainless steel rings or just one removal strap are also available.
