Originally designed to pump concrete, the Schwing Bioset piston pumps adapt easily to the rigors of wastewater treatment plant service with a proven history of reliability and ease of maintenance. Many units have operated continuously for years with 99% availability. Schwing units pump dewatered biosolids from Belt Presses, Centrifuges, Plate and Frame Presses, and Rotary Presses with dry solids content up to 56%. The pumps have volumetric capacities over 310 GPM and operating pressures up to 1,885 psi.

Shaftless spiral conveyors eliminate the central shaft and allow a much higher fill rate resulting in lower rpm’s, more efficient conveying, and less wear. Without a shaft, no intermediate or end bearings are required. The trough liner is the spiral’s replaceable bearing surface. The only machined bearings in a shaftless are in gear reducer. This allows for direct connections and optimizes layout design flexibility. End-to-end and side connections not possible on shafted screw conveyors are common solutions available in the shaftless design. Vertical shaftless conveyors are available in a single unit up to 50 feet and systems over 100 feet in elevation gain.

Vertical Side Walls: No tapered wall means no material bridging. Storage capacity is increased and overall height is minimized when compared to traditional live bottoms and gravity feed bins with conical discharge cones. This is especially important when installing intermediate storage capacity indoors.

Schwing Bioset offers both Container Wagons and the Augie Dumpster system for your disposal needs. Both systems offer low maintenance and cost-effective ways to evenly and automatically load dumpsters. The Container Wagon system is a rail-mounted unitized carrier that, utilizing level and proximity sensors, will automatically index itself through the loading sequence such that the dumpster is evenly loaded. The rail system will then deliver the dumpster to the dedicated loading/unloading station for removal.

Shafted Screw Conveyors date to Archimedes and are still one of the most widely used and simplest devices for the movement of material. Shafted screw conveyors are compact and easily adapted to congested layouts. Custom Conveyor’s Shafted Screw Conveyors efficiently convey dry to semi-fluid and free-flowing to sluggish materials.
