Solar Simulation and PV Testing Equipment - Flash Solar Simulators
Sciencetech - Flash Solar Simulator Projector (FSSP)
Sciencetech`s FSSP solar simulator is designed to illuminate targets of 1x1m with 1 sun, or smaller targets with multiple suns. The default spectral match is to ASTM AM1.5G. The flash itself is a stable 1ms length, with options available (purchased separately) to stretch the pulse. Timing and number of flashes can be computer controlled. This unit is a Class AAA flash solar simulator by default, with options available to reduce spatial uniformity in order to increase target size.
Far Infrared Systems (THz) - Far Infrared Spectrometers
Sciencetech - 1cm-1 Resolution Benchtop FTIR Spectrometer
The Model TEO200 benchtop FTIR spectrometer is a low cost Fourier transform infrared spectrometer that employs a number of unique features to achieve high performance from such a compact size. At just 385x265x160mm , it is one of the most compact FTIR systems on the market today.
Sciencetech - Far Infrared Main Assembly Spectrometers
The most powerful TeraHertz FTIR available in the mid and far IR Range, the SPS-300 is our second generation Martin-Puplett/Michelson Interferometer designed and built at Sciencetech`s own facilities in London, Canada. With a wide variety of optional upgrades and components to suit any research application, the SPS-300 has been successfully used in Material Research, Biomedical, Medical, Astronomy, Aerospace, Superconductivity, Security, Defense and a wide range of other fields by distinguished customers including the European Space Agency, the Max Planck Institute, the Argonne National Labs, The Canadian National Research Council, the Brookhaven National Lab, L`Institute d`Astrophysique Spatiale, Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, and many universities the world over.
Modular Spectroscopy Equipment - Sample Chamber
Sciencetech - Compact Sample Chamber
This sample chamber has one input port and two output ports. One of the output ports is 90° relative to the input port, allowing it to be used in fluorescence-type applications. The other output port is directly across from the input port, allowing it to be used for transmission measurements/applications. The lid of the sample chamber can be removed, exposing the built-in cuvette holder inside. This cuvette holder holds one 10 × 10mm cuvette. Optionally, the cuvette holder can be upgraded to a thin film holder capable of mounting 20 × 20mm samples. We recommend talking with one of Sciencetech`s technical sales staff to determine if the thin film holder will be sufficient for your particular application. The sample chamber dimensions are 205 × 128 × 154mm (8"× 5"× 6").
Sciencetech - Peltier Cooled Sample Chamber
This external transmission/reflectance sample chamber can be mated to the output port of a Sciencetech FTIR system. This chamber allows small samples to be studied in both transmission and reflectance modes, at temperatures ranging from approximately -20° Celsius to room temperature. The sample chamber utilizes gold coated aspheric optics for excellent signal in the infrared and terahertz region.
Electrochemical Workstations
Zahner Cimps - Photo-Electrochemical Workstation
The automatic comparison between set value and sensed intensity eliminates the influence of non-linearity, ageing and temperature drift. Furthermore, it allows the direct calibration of the light source in units of intensity (W/m²). The ZAHNER CIMPS system based on LED arrays brings an additional advantage compared to the IMPS described in the literature: a control loop regulates light intensity and modulation and keeps it absolutely stable
Optical Components- Filters
Sciencetech - Air Mass AM0 Filter
A 3x3" air mass filter specifically designed for Sciencetech`s Fully Reflective Solar Simulators, including filter holder. The AM0 simulates the terrestrial solar spectrum for space applications where there is very little absorption of solar radiation due to the atmosphere. It includes direct light from the sun only. It does not include the diffuse light that is scattered by the atmosphere. As a result this filter simulates the direct radiation which reaches the ground.
