Control Grips

Scorpion Technologies - Sure Grip

Single trigger, up to 2 faceplate buttons, long life snap action switches, field replaceable switches, many other options. Scorpion Technologies’ S series handle is a simple, compact, and low cost control grip for applications requiring up to three functions. This handle is available with a trigger and up to two thumb operated faceplate buttons. The ergonomic shape is a comfortable fit for most people’s hands, and the faceplate can be rotated 180 degrees to adjust the buttons up or down for an even better match to the operator’s hand size.

Joysticks

Scorpion Technologies - Single Axis Analog Joystick with Hall Effect Sensors

The JS-01 is a single axis, spring-return to center joystick designed for precision control applications requiring durable performance. This full-size joystick incorporates non-contacting Hall effect sensors, ensuring an operational lifespan exceeding 4 million cycles. The standard analog output ranges from 0.5V to 2.5V (center) to 4.5V DC, suitable for a variety of industrial and commercial control systems. The joystick features an IP65 rating above the panel, offering protection against dust and water ingress. For enhanced connectivity and usability, it includes a 6-pin Deutsch connector. High current switched outputs and CAN (CanOpen or J1939) communications options are available to meet specific application needs. The JS-01 is equipped with a plain knob by default, but can be customized with any of the available S, X, P, or L grips, providing adaptability for different ergonomic requirements. Integrated control electronics can also be incorporated based on project requirements.

Electronics - Multiswitch

Scorpion - Multiswitch Module

The EM-MS-02 Multiswitch module is a small programmable multi-use controller board with digital and analog inputs and digital outputs. Typical uses include PWM proportional valve control, PWM valve “soft start”, custom logic for button presses, maintained functions from momentary switches, timed functions from momentary switches etc.

Scorpion Technologies - Multiswitch Module for Digital and Analog Inputs/Outputs

The EM-MS-02 Multiswitch module is a compact programmable controller board featuring both digital and analog inputs along with digital outputs. This versatile module can be configured for various applications such as PWM proportional valve control, PWM valve soft start, and custom logic for button presses. In addition, it supports functionalities including maintaining functions from momentary switches and timed operations from momentary switches. The module is designed to enhance control systems with precise input and output handling. The EM-MS-02-A variant extends the capabilities with analog outputs, specifically tailored to drive Danfoss PVG 32 and PVG 120 valves, making it suitable for systems requiring both digital and analog input and output combinations. Older models like the EM-DC-D and EM-DC-A, which operate bidirectional valves and come with features like short circuit/reverse polarity protection, on-board ramping adjustment, and joystick/separated button inputs, are not recommended for new applications and should be replaced by the newer EM-MS-02 or EM-MS-02-A models.

Electronics - Valve Drivers

Scorpion Technologies - Programmable Valve Drivers for Proportional Hydraulic Valves

Scorpion Technologies LTD specializes in developing high-performance, programmable valve drivers designed to control a variety of proportional hydraulic valves and to handle small control logic applications. The key product, the EM-MS-02 Multiswitch module, operates as a versatile, programmable multi-use controller board featuring both digital and analog inputs and outputs, making it suitable for several applications such as PWM proportional valve control, PWM valve soft start, and custom logic for button presses. The EM-MS-02-A variant enhances this utility with analog output capabilities, tailored to drive Danfoss PVG 32 and PVG 120 valves. The range also includes the EM-DC-D and EM-DC-A, older models with distinct functionalities for operating PWM valves with additional protective and programmable features. These modules support 12 or 24 VDC operations and are designed with on-board ramping and frequency adjustments, providing durable and customizable solutions for diverse hydraulic control needs.
