Thetis Autonomous Moored Platform - Water Column Profiler
The Thetis Profiler is a submersible vertically profiling platform for use in coastal marine and fresh water environments. The purpose of the platform is to sample the water column distributions of physical, biological, chemical and optical properties at a fixed geographical location over extended periods of time. The system provides sub-meter scale vertical resolution of these properties from 1- 2 m above sea floor to the surface of the air-water interface. The Thetis design includes: • Modular, self-contained, winch-driven profiling platform • Integrated control, power, and telemetry systems • Full suite of available physical, chemical and biological sensors The Thetis’ self-contained design greatly simplifies deployment, recovery and maintenance, significantly reducing the logistical/manpower burdens off operational observing systems.

SBE - CTD Sensor for Primary Oceanographic Research Tool
The SBE 911plus CTD is the primary oceanographic research tool used by the world’s leading institutions, providing 24 Hz sampling with an SBE 9plus CTD Unit and SBE 11plus V2 Deck Unit. The 911plus system provides real-time data collection over 10,000 meters of cable (single- or multi-conductor electro-mechanical sea cable, slip-ring equipped winch, and computer for data display and logging supplied by user).
SBE - Profiler CTD
The SBE 19plus V2 SeaCAT measures conductivity, temperature, and pressure at 4 scans/sec (4 Hz) and provides high accuracy and resolution, reliability, and ease-of-use for a wide range of research, monitoring, and engineering applications. Pump-controlled, T-C ducted flow minimizes salinity spiking caused by ship heave and allows for slow descent rates without slowing sensor responses, improving dynamic accuracy and resolving small scale structure in the water column. The 19plus V2 supports numerous auxiliary sensors (dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidity, fluorescence, oil, PAR, nitrates, altimeter, etc.) with six A/D channels and one RS-232 data channel. Data is recorded in memory and can also be output in real-time in engineering units or raw HEX. Nine alkaline D-cells provide power for up to 60 hours of profiling.

SBE - High-Accuracy Conductivity and Temperature Recorder
The SBE 16plus V2 SeaCAT is a high-accuracy conductivity and temperature (pressure optional) recorder designed for moorings or other long-duration, fixed-site deployments. It supports numerous auxiliary sensors (dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidity, fluorescence, oil, PAR, etc.) with six A/D channels and one RS-232 data channel. The 16plus V2 communicates via an RS-232 serial interface, and has internal batteries and memory. It is well suited to networked sensor arrays where its operation can be triggered by satellite, radio, or hardwire telemetry equipment. Data is recorded in memory and can also be output in real-time in engineering units or raw HEX. Battery endurance varies, depending on the sampling scheme; nine alkaline D-cells provide power for 355,000 samples of C and T.
SBE - High-Accuracy Conductivity and Temperature Recorder
The SBE 16plus-IM V2 SeaCAT is a high-accuracy conductivity and temperature (pressure optional) recorder with Inductive Modem (IM) interface designed for long-duration deployments on moorings. It supports numerous auxiliary sensors (dissolved oxygen, turbidity, fluorescence, PAR, etc.) with six A/D channels and one RS-232 data channel. The 16plus-IM V2 has internal batteries and memory. Data is recorded in memory and can also be output in real-time in engineering units or raw HEX. Battery endurance varies, depending on the sampling scheme; nine alkaline D-cells provide power for 290,000 samples of C and T.

SBE - Digital Oceanographic Thermometer
Sophisticated A/D acquisition electronics, ultra-stable thermistor, and state-of-the-art calibration provide the standards-level performance of an expensive AC bridge and platinum thermometer at a small fraction of the cost. The SBE 38 is unaffected by shock and vibration, has high accuracy and stability, and is easy to use. It has a rugged, corrosion-proof, 10,500 m titanium housing. Real-time temperature data is transmitted via the RS-232 or RS-485 serial interface in ASCII characters (°C or raw counts). The SBE 38 must be externally powered, and its data logged or telemetered by a computer, data logger, or instrument.
SBE - Thermosalinograph
The externally powered SBE 21 accurately determines sea surface temperature and conductivity from underway vessels. Data is simultaneously stored in memory and output to a computer in real-time. Typically mounted near the ship’s seawater intake, the SBE 21 connects to an AC-powered interface box near a computer. The interface box provides power and an isolated data interface, and contains a NMEA 0183 port for appending navigation data. Memory capacity exceeds 10.6 million samples of temperature and conductivity; real-time output continues after the memory is full.

SBE - Oceanographic Temperature Sensor
Intended primarily for use on the SBE 911plus profiling CTD (3plus) and the 25plus profiling CTD (3F), the SBE 3 can also be used as a component in custom oceanographic systems or for high-accuracy industrial and environmental temperature monitoring applications. The superior performance of the SBE 3 results from its optimized electronic design, superior calibration, response characterization, and quality testing program.
SBE - Conductivity Sensor
The SBE 4 conductivity sensor is a modular, self-contained instrument that measures conductivity from 0 to 7 S/m, covering the full range of lake and oceanic applications. The sensor has electrically isolated power circuits and optically coupled outputs to eliminate any possibility of noise and corrosion caused by ground loops. Interfacing is also simplified by the square-wave variable frequency output signal (nominally 2.5 to 7.5 kHz, corresponding to 0 to 7 S/m). The sensor offers improved temperature compensation, smaller fit residuals, and faster turn-on stabilization times.
