Today we celebrate SEAMOR Marine’s 10th anniversary!

Over the past ten years, President Robin Li (right) together with Owner/Controller Inja Ma (left) grew SEAMOR from a small corner in a shared office to its current operations today.

Thanks to our hardworking team of employees and worldwide network of dealers, we have been successful in developing new products and delivering SEAMOR ROVs all over the world.

A SEAMOR Marine Chinook ROV was used to confirm the identity of a 1897 schooner barge, the Antelope, found 300 feet down at the bottom of Lake Superior near Wisconsin, USA. This ship is one of the most intact wooden schooners to be found at the bottom of the lake with its masts still standing. Its cargo (coal) may have helped the ship sink slowly, coal being a buoyant load, preventing the ship’s hull from collapsing during its descent.<

When two tugboats collided off the coast of Nanaimo in late May 2016, SEAMOR Marine Ltd. was quick on the scene to offer help.

The accident occurred the evening of May 24, 2016 in the south of Nanaimo between Duke Point and Gabriola Island. Two tug boats were running alongside one another, when one ship, the C.T. Titan, swerved and crashed into the smaller Albern tug. Two crew members were safely pulled from the water, but the Albern rolled and sank to the bottom of the Northumberland
