Electrochemical Sensors - Air Quality Monitoring

4-electrode CO Gas Sensor

This 4-electrode sensor is designed for air quality monitoring to measure the low-concentration CO gas with ultra-high resolutions. The design optimizes the sensor sensitivity, accuracy and long-term stability and enables the sensor to detect ozone variations at parts per billion (ppb) levels.

Sensor Modules

4-Series Smart Gas Sensor Module

This 4ECM-Smart Module PCBA consists of a data collection and processing PCB assembly, and a SemeaTech 4-Series electrochemical (EC) sensor. The PCB assembly in the module collects the data from the gas sensor output, and then processes it with amplification, sampling, filtration, and temperature compensation through a built-in MCU to deliver stable and accurate digital output reflecting the actual target gas concentration. Any of SemeaTech 4-series EC sensors can be used to form a 4ECM-Smart Sensor Module that delivers the signal output through UART bus, which provides a good user experience for quickly integrating gas sensors into the existing systems for a variety of gas detection applications.

Radiation Detection

Cesium Iodine Gamma Sensor

SemeaTech`s 3cc Cesium lodine Gamma Sensor consists of a cesium iodide crystal, a photodiode, and a high-gain preamplifier that can be used to measure X and γ radiation from 50keV to 3MeV. It features high sensitivity and an instant response time (of about a second) to a very minor change of X and γ (0.01μSv/h). The sensor is housed in a 45x24x18±0.5mm metal housing with a cable of approx, 55mm as the connection interface. The connector is a 4-pin MOLEX PicoBlade 1.25mm (.049``) connector (reference Molex connector, part No.51021-0400). 

Gamma Radiation Sensor

SemeaAlert-Gamma is designed to alert those who are concerned about accidental exposure to ionizing radiation hazards in the environment. This product features high sensitivity and an instant response time ( of about a second ) to a very minor change of X and γ ( 0.01 μSv/h ). Unlike other professional X and γ detectors, SemeaAlert -Gamma is not built with a digital display. Instead it has a large LED and buzzer that change the color and number of beeps to indicate Normal, Low-Alarm, Mid-Alarm and High-Alarm representing radiation levels. This design not only helps the users who lack knowledge of radiation easily understand how strong the radiation is, but also tremendously lowers the product cost so that it becomes an affordable personal radiological protection device.

Mini Gamma Sensor

This mini-Gamma sensor uses a 4x4x8mm Cesium Iodine (Csl) scintillator that uses a radiation-sensitive crystal as the detection component. It works with a PIN diode to convert the radiation to electric outputs. Along with a high sensitive preamplifier, the Csl crystal and PIN diode are encapsulated into a 17x12x7mm metal enclosure. This compact mechanical design enables the sensor to be used in small digital devices such as smart phones, smart watches and other wearable devices used for those who are sensitive to radiation.
