In 1990 Senix introduced a new concept in sensor design – the world’s first user-configurable ultrasonic sensor. With both a push-button and personal computer interface, users were able to gain access to a range of sensor capabilities previously unavailable.

We sell to both to end-users, resellers, and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) in many industries. Standard ultrasonic sensor products provide solutions for most new or retrofit applications. Senix also will offer custom sensor designs to meet special packaging or design requirements. We also will configure our flexible and versatile ToughSonic sensors into packaged systems for object detection, remote mounting locations for level applications, or for a wide array of system needs.

ToughSonic sensors are some of the most rugged ultrasonic sensors available anywhere. They are our flagship products with heavy duty electronics epoxy potted into type 316 stainless steel housings, with permanently attached cables and ruggedized piezoelectric transducers. ToughSonic sensors are found on remote monitoring stations from the Australian outback to Alaskan oil fields. They are installed on heavy construction and farm equipment, and in some of the harshest factory environments. When an ordinary sensor just won’t do, you need a ToughSonic.
Our SenixVIEW software, included with everyt sensor, makes our ToughSonic sensors perhaps the most versatile and flexible sensors available anywhere. SenixVIEW had the capabilities of optimizing over 60 different parameters of each sensor including built in switches, multiple output options, and performance characteristics.

Conflict Minerals are often referred to as 3TG, which is an acronym for tin, tungsten, tantalum, or gold that are mined in the Democratic Republic of Congo or adjoining countries.
The Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank Act) requires that certain publicly traded companies annually report whether the products they manufacture contain Conflict Minerals. Senix is not publicly traded and does not meet the requirements for reporting Conflict Mineral usage. However, Senix has a strong commitment to human rights and environmental protection and believe that manufacturing products that do not contain Conflict Minerals is the proper way to conduct business.

ToughSonic ultrasonic level and distance sensors are used in all industries to measure level, volume, height, distance, position, width and diameter.
