Senkox HSD - 201 Hot Spot Detection Systems

The Senkox HSD™ 201 Hot Spot Detection System is a project-specific temperature monitoring and alarm solution. The system is designed according to customer requirements. The system networks all the monitoring sensors such as Senkox Linear Heat Sensors, camera sensors, smoke sensors, pressure sensors and other monitoring devices from different field. It also provide flexible subsystem interface for to extending sensors. All the sensors and subsystems are connected into one central control station. The system provides alarms and automatic controls according to the project requirement, such as switches and valves etc.

DAQ Module

The Senkox HSD™ DAQ Module family is a variety of different detection control modules, each of which, acts as an interface between a DCS or fire alarm control system and the Senkox HSD™ Linear Heat Sensors (LHS). A DAQ module monitors and processes the signals generated from the HSD™ LHS cables. The DAQ module family contains relay outputs, analog outputs (4-20 mA or 0-5V), and serial communication ports (RS485 or RS232, Modbus/RTU protocol) that can be easily integrated to any user DCS or fire alarm system.

Linear Heat Sensors

The Senkox HSD™ Linear Heat Sensors (LHS) are 2nd generation Senkox LHS. We improve the material’s performance over the 1st generation sensor, and also introduce new processing technology to provide comprehensive hot spot detection solutions. The Senkox HSD™ Linear Heat Sensors are designed to be highly flexible, durable, and to be applicable for different environmental conditions. The sensors withstand high temperature, high abrasion, high pressure and are oil proof. The sensors are intrinsically safety and can be used in hazardous locations.

Model TDS–CS - Coal Storage Temperature Monitoring System

Spontaneous combustion has long been recognized as a fire hazard in coal storage facilities such as coal silos and sheds. These accidents usually begin as “hot spots” generated by oxidation and the poor release of heat deep in the coal silo, eventually resulting in widespread fires. Therefore, it is imperative to monitor “hot spots” within coal silos. Since coal silos are generally very large in volume, the temperature monitoring system involved has to be composed of distributed sensors that are able to cover large areas within the silo. Moreover, the temperature sensors must also be very durable to be able to withstand the stresses of coal loading and unloading.

Model TDS–FS - Fuel Storage Temperature Monitoring System

Petroleum storage tanks and cryogenic product storage facilities (liquid natural gas, LPG, ethylene, ammonia, etc.) require sensitive temperature monitoring systems to give ample warning of elevated temperatures prior to combustion. By providing an advanced notice of rising temperatures, appropriate steps can be taken to prevent a disaster from happening. Senkox TDS-FS Temperature Monitoring System is the ideal solution to fill this role. The TDS-FS system is composed of multiple Senkox HSD Linear Hot Spot Detectors and accessories; the HSD Linear Hot Spot Detector includes HSD linear heat sensors and DAQ modules.
