DAF - Model FPAC - SIGMA DAF FPAC

The DAF FPAC model is a large surface flotation clarification and cross-flow separation system. The system has been designed to treat wastewater flows with a very high load of suspended solids and other contaminants, which require a large flotation surface to ensure good flotation and separation of solids (up to 40kg of dry matter per m² can be treated). The pressurized and dissolved air flotation systems treat contaminated water that is introduced at one end of the machine and expels the same clean water at the other end. SIGMADAF technology is used to separate oils, greases, suspended solids and flocculated matter, which do not have sufficient flotation capacity or when oil-solids emulsions (with high density) require air flotation to improve the separation process. The use of micro bubble technology (30 - 50 microns) increases the separation efficiency. The smaller the bubble, the better it can adhere to the particles, enhancing the efficiency of the system.

DAF - Model FPCB - SIGMA DAF FPBC

The system is based on the principle of countercurrent flow through an inclined plate pack. Water is introduced into the system in a cross-flow configuration, which significantly reduces the distance solids must travel to separate effectively. An inclined lamella plate pack is installed inside the compact separator for maximum effective flotation area. The separation rate is determined by the flow rate (Q) and the effective surface area of the plate (S), therefore, particles that reach a higher upward velocity (through aeration of micro bubbles) than the overflow velocity (Q / S) are separated. Due to the application of plate separation technology, separation efficiency is maximized with very low hydraulic ratios, making the separators compact and effective.

DAF - Model FPHF - SIGMA DAF FPHF

The DAF FPHF flotation equipment is a separation system that represents an improvement over lamella plate technology thanks to a combination of cross-flow and countercurrent flow. This model was originally developed for the treatment of large flows with substantial suspended solids content. High flow treatment requires better flow distribution. The inlet area of the lamella packs is divided into equal parts to ensure full and even use of the entire lamella surface within the system. In practice, very low hydraulic loading ratios are achieved compared to conventional plate separators, which mostly have a hydraulic ratio of at least 3 m³ per m² per hour.

MEGADAF - Model FPBC-CW - SIGMA DAF FPBC-CW

Our MEGADAF systems operate at flow rates in excess of 1000 m3/h per DAF unit and can treat various pollutant loads depending on the application and type of water. They can be built without lamellae (FPAC-CW) or with lamellae packages (FPBC-CW), which allows to reduce the occupied surface and the volume of the flotation tank. For wastewater flow rates of ﹥ 600 m3/h unit, flocculation can also be carried out in tubular units (SigmaDAF PLF equipment), which are located next to the DAF tank, for which the water has to be pumped through the tubular flocculation labyrinth.

FILTER PRESS - SIGMA FILTER PRESS

SIGMADAF designs and manufactures filter presses with lateral transfer of plates for the separation of solids and liquids. This process is more commonly known as sludge drying, or sludge dewatering. Our filter presses guarantee excellent performance in all types of industrial processes and wastewater treatment. The filter presses with side transfer are ideal for working with small and medium production of cakes, which is the name given to the solids separated and drained to the maximum. We have a wide range of filter presses that can be manufactured with multiple degrees of automation, according to the customer's needs, or according to the technical characteristics of the product to be filtered. The main materials of construction are: Carbon steel, SS316, SS304, Polypropylene.

DECENTRALIZED STP - Model MBR - DECENTRALIZED STP - MBR

At SIGMADAF we design and manufacture decentralized plants for water treatment and wastewater reuse. These units can operate in urban, rural or industrial environments. All our decentralized plants are delivered fully assembled and ready to operate inside a container, which is designed to facilitate plant operation and protect the equipment in any outdoor location. SIGMADAF has a wide range of decentralized solutions for water treatment and wastewater reuse: MBR systems systems combine biological treatment with membrane filtration for efficient removal of organic matter and suspended solids, producing a high quality effluent suitable for reuse.
