Project Management

Control System Assessments

Our staff has provided several evaluations of existing control systems. These evaluations consist of documenting the current status of equipment, software, and communications; providing the proper information on long-term availability of said equipment, software and communications; providing alternative solutions for maintenance or replacement; and providing recommendations based on our experience and knowledge. Instrumentation & Controls Design

Signature Automation`s engineering design team is licensed and experienced in performing front-end-engineering, design-bid-build and design-build projects for multiple industries including: Municipal Water/Wastewater, Industrial Facilities, Oil and Gas-Midstream, Petrochemical Plants. Our design team provides high quality service to our clients and partners by incorporating experience, leadership, teamwork, quality and initiative. Engineering design offerings include a full-spectrum of services from master planning, studies, assessments, Greenfield design, Brownfield design, peer-reviews, value engineering reviews, and construction oversight.

Applications Engineering

Signature Automation`s key competency is control system programming and configuration. Our team has continuously demonstrated our skill set by providing a high quality, reliable product to our clients. Our staff has extensive knowledge of various hardware and software offerings common to our industry, and the proper techniques to carry out a programming project from start to finish.

System Commissioning

Signature Automation provides field commissioning services to verify that all hardware and software has been properly installed after the field installation is complete and to ensure that there is a smooth transition from the existing system to the new system with minimal downtime. The commissioning stage is also important as it allows our team to work directly with the operations and maintenance personnel allowing additional hands-on training as they will eventually be responsible for the system on a day-to-day basis.

Technical Documentation

Signature Automation provides very detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle. These documents can include HMI and PLC programming standards, test procedures, programming submittals, meeting minutes, reports, and operations and maintenance manuals. These documents are written with enough detail and step-by-step information to allow operators, maintenance personnel, and administrators to carry out day-to-day tasks, as needed.

Ongoing Maintenance & Support

Signature Automation recognizes the importance of continuous operation of our clients` systems. We offer on-call, planned and emergency support services to help our clients maintain their peace of mind. This allows our team to address any unforeseen issues on the control system. In addition, to the project support, Signature Automation provides on-going maintenance agreements. This allows clients to have on-call access to our team to help address any automation engineering need that may arise at their facility.
