The SIWATT brand includes non-oriented electrical steel that is essential for the economical production, conversion, distribution and use of electricity. SIWATT brand steels are the most important materials that we use for electricity transmission in energy-efficient electrical appliances. SIWATT steels are built into the magnetic cores of electric motors, generators and transformers. Their future is in hybrid and electric cars. The SIWATT brand combines steels with excellent soft magnetic properties. They are characterised by magnetising ability, high magnetic permeability and a low losses.

The main advantages of SINOXX steel brands are: corrosion resistance, good weldability and formability, high thermal resistance, low life-cycle cost, full recycling and biological neutrality. SINOXX steel brands have excellent corrosion resistance. Some of them are very stable in humid atmospheres and at the same time resistant to acidic and alkaline environments. Others maintain excellent corrosion resistance even at temperatures above 550 °C.

SIMOLD tool steel is intended for the manufacture of different moulds for plastics, synthetic resins and rubber moulding. Backing parts of plastic injection moulding tools are made of SIMOLD tool steel alloyed with sulphur, added to increase their machinability. SIMOLD brand steel, alloyed with chromium (above 12% Cr), is characterised by its excellent corrosion resistance, thus placing this in the category of so-called corrosion-resistant tool steels.

SIDUR 300 is a wear-resistant steel in hardness range 260–340 HB, supplied as quarto plates in as rolled condition. It has good wear resistance and stable mechanical properties. SIDUR 300 plates have homogeneous through-thickness hardness, even at higher thicknesses. It is intended for use on components that require good wear resistance, such as dryers in asphalt production, clinker cooler plates and liners in cement plants, components for blast furnaces, equipment for power plants and liner plates and clinker hammers in crushers.
