Ice scrapers – ice planing knives for the printing industry are made from different materials and for different machinery: knives are made inlaid (compound) or solid materials. We produce knives for differente machines like: Destarol, Dupon / Okay, Eisbär / Polar bear, Olympia, Zamboni / Rolga. The most common types we produce on stock.

RAVNE knives are custom manufactured and available in a wide range of grades including shock resisting and wear resisting tool steels, high speed steels, particle metallurgy (PM) steels and in tungsten carbide.

RAVNE produces circular shear blades and shear knives up to a diameter of 1400 mm (55”) for hot cutting and cold cutting applications.

HSS Saws: general use conventional cut-off blade for ferrous and non ferrous metals, also suitable for specific plastics. Hot Saw Blades are used to cut metals with a temperature in excess of 850˚C. Friction Saw Blades are used to saw metals with a temperature below 250˚C.

The diverse applicability of the SINOXX steel brands depends on their chemical composition. A single steel product cannot meet all operational requirements. Thus, under the aegis of SINOXX, various steels have been developed and each of them has only highlighted selected properties. Product durability and usability thus depends quite as much on the selection of an appropriate grade of steel.

We produce veneer knives in different lengths up to 6 m, out of high-quality tool steel in solid and compound (inlaid) version. Knives and pressure bars for veneer cutting we can offer in rustles quality (high Cr) as well. Knives can be produced in different hardnesses and reliable tolerances. They have high wear-resistance, excellent cutting ability and long life time.

By more and more frequently production of different wooden boards (Particleboards, MDF, OSB,..), we have developed new materials, which correspond momentary world trends. With initiating modern technology into our production we can achieve most pretentious tolerances. We can offer knives in low alloyed or high alloyed steels, depends from pretentiousness of application.

Development of different steel grades throughout our company history led to durable knives for chipping wood which stay sharp for a long time.
