Simflo`s standard discharge head is cast of high grade iron, designed with the strength and rigidity to support the weight of a deep pump setting. Heads are provided with a discharge flange drilled to match 150lb ANSI connections. The bottom face of the discharge head is fully machined to allow for a level installation. Simflo`s discharge heads are designed to allow for shaft coupling above the gland assembly, with clearance for maintenance of the gland. Oil lube gland assemblies are manufactured with a cast iron housing that allows for proper tension of the inner column at all times. Oil lubricated glands are provided with a lubricator with manual operated, sight drip feed and a five quart oil reservoir.

Simflo`s discharge elbows are fabricated steel and are provided with a class 150 ANSI raised face flanges of the same diameter as the column pipe. The discharge elbow has an integral steel base drilled for flange mounting and lifting lugs of sufficient strength to lift the entire head, column pipe and pump/motor assembly safely for installation and servicing operations. A threaded connection is provided in the head base for the installation a terminal box. The base plate is also provided with threaded openings for a well vent and a water level indicator. Simflo can custom design a discharge to meet the specific needs of a wide variety of installations.

The discharge head shall be of ASTM A48, Class 30 Cast Iron or ASTM A53, grade B Fabricated Steel designed for above ground discharge with sufficient strength and rigidity to support the motor mounted on it and carry the suspended weight of the attached column and bowl assemblies. If fabricated steel, a radius or three-piece mitered type elbow shall be used for smooth transition. The discharge flange shall be faced and drilled to match 150 pound ANSI connections. The discharge size shall be the same size as the column pipe. The design shall permit a two-piece head shaft to be coupled above the packing box. The bottom face of the discharge head shall be circular and fully finished. When required for booster can mounting, the diameter and drilling shall match 150 pound ANSI standards.
