SLACAN steel ServiSleeves are used in conjunction with Guy Clamps, and eliminate the time consuming chore of making wire-wound serves. The belled end slips easily over the loose guy strand and a few light taps complete a quick neat serve. No crimping is required.

Each Strap is stamped with the size as indicated in the table.

Drive Hooks are made to exacting specifications to ensure maximum strength for all load conditions. The sharp, threadless point penetrates easily into pole or wood. A flat driving head is provided on the hook end. Thread is fetter drive. For steel poles, the catalogue number 1317 has a curved base to accomodate two 1/4`` (6.4 mm) diameter tapping screws.

Cable Guards are supplied in Type A (unflanged) and Type B (flanged) designs. Type B fits over the duct at the ground and eliminates the need for an adapter. They are formed from 14 gauge sheet steel and hot dip galvanized after fabrication for long service life. They come complete with a grounding hole at the bottom end.

Extra guys can be attached to an existing anchor rod by use of an Auxiliary Eye. The Eye is mounted below the head of the anchor rod by means of a U-bolt. It is formed with a wide radius that will not kink or injure the guy strand. No thimble is required.

Use of an Angle Thimble Eye permits assembly of the upper end of the guy on the ground before raising it to the pole top.
The bolt hole is heavily reinforced and the thimble eye is forged at a 45 degree angle.

Inspection and test of the ground rod connections at substation and similar grounding installations is made easy by the Ground Electrode Box as it provides ready access to the connection area.

Both types have two holes in the U-strap which fit over the end of the ground rod. High pressure contact is maintained by a square head set screw. Both types accommodate up to 2/0 copper ground wire. Supplied assembled with 1/2`` (12.7mm) set screw, hex. nut, square nut.

Anchor bolts are used to fix plates, columns, sign structures and many other objects to concrete. They are available as hook bolts or straight with bottom nut welded to anchor. Bolts are made from 300w material.
