The MTP carousel tissue processor guarantees gentle and highly reliable specimen processing in conjunction with state of the art control features. The specimen throughput can be doubled to 240 cassettes per run with a second transport basket. For faster and substantially improved processing of tissue, the instrument can optionally be equipped with vacuum units for all paraffin beakers or all positions including reagent beakers. An integrated battery ensures highest process safety even in environments with frequent power failures. Hazardous fumes are efficiently eliminated by a fume extraction system thereby increasing user safety.

The MTM II fast tissue processor offers a cost-efficient and user-friendly alternative for fast biopsies processing and overnight batch tissue processing needs of every histology laboratory. The instrument can either be used for fully automated fast biopsy processing or high volume overnight batches of up to 300 samples. The innovative and patented enhanced heat exchanger (EHE) allows fastest non-microwave tissue processing today available. Reagents are homogeneously and gently heated thereby assuring maximum sample safety. The system can be operated with traditional reagents or with most of the xylene and ethyl alcohol substitutes today available on the market. An user friendly reagent management system and an optimized cleaning cycle routine are the basis for higher cost efficiency and higher turn-over. Process safety is guaranteed with an intelligent remote alarm system that communicates via mobile or internet.

The dispensing module MPS/P includes an integrated illumination of the working area, easily adjustable forceps holder and a large paraffin container capacity of 5,5 liters, ensuring a concentrated and ergonomic embedding process. Ergonomic hand rests provide optimum ease of movement without burning the hands. A deep paraffin collection tray collects excess paraffin and keeps the working area clean. The paraffin dispensing system ensures a homogeneous flow rate of paraffin that can be individually adjusted. Paraffin flow can be activated either manually or via foot pedal. An integrated high efficiency cooling spot provides continuously low temperatures throughout the working process. MPS/P is equipped with a state of the art microprocessor that automatically regulates the temperatures of each area and container. Working hours and working days are programmable allowing an uninterrupted routine work flow.

The prewarming module MPS/W allows for a fast and efficient prewarming of cassettes and molds as preparation for the embedding process. The mold warmer with lid can be opened completely to ensure an ergonomic work flow throughout the embedding process. The cassette bath offers space for up to 320 standard cassettes. It is removable and easy to clean. MPS/W is equipped with a state of the art microprocessor that automatically regulates the temperatures of each area and container. Working hours and working days are programmable allowing for an uninterrupted routine work flow.
