Sly, Inc. products
Dust Collectors - Tubejet Baghouse Dust Collectors
Sly - Model Pulse Jet STJ/SBR - Square Dust Collector
Sly’s Square Series TubeJet dust collectors are available in top bag removal (STJ) and side bag removal (SBR). The TubeJet’s unique pulse pipe connection and rugged snap ring bag assembly make bag changes simple. Large weather proof doors on the collector’s roof provide easy access for inspection and maintenance.
Sly - Model Pulse Jet CTR/CBR - Cylindrical Dust Collector
Sly’s Cylindrical TubeJet® Pulse-Cleaned Dust Collectors are available in a top bag removal design (CTR) or a side bag removal design (CBR). These cylinder style units are also available in high pressure and vacuum designs.
Dust Collectors
Sly - Vertical Cartridge Filter Collector
Gravity works in your favor with the Vertical Cartridge filters, allowing dust and debris to fall off rather than gathering on the cartridge’s filter media. VCFs are ideal for many applications where the dust is dry and free-flowing.
Sly - Reverse Air Collector
When energy savings are critical or the availability of quality compressed air is limited, the Sly RAC (reverse air collector) is an ideal option. The RAC uses an integral centrifugal fan to deliver low pressure reverse air to clean the filter bags and does not require compressed air. The advanced cleaning arm with high velocity nozzles rotates continuously providing clean, dry, contaminate free air to each filter bag. The cleaning arm is powered by a direct drive providing long reliable service and carries a 5-year warranty.
Sly - Cyclone Dust Collector
Cyclones utilize centrifugal force to draw particulate-laden air into the unit, where the dust is separated from the clean air and directed to the base. Their filterless design makes Sly cyclones highly effective at capturing heavy dust particles, making them perfect for upstream pre-dust collection. This helps extend the life of secondary, downstream dust control systems. Additionally, the filterless design makes Sly Cyclones virtually maintenance-free, eliminating employees needing to open and clean the machine.
Industrial Wet Scrubbers
Sly - Model Impinjet - Wet Scrubbers
Sly Impinjet Wet Gas Scrubbers collect particulates and absorb vapors and gases. Low water consumption and minimum pressure drop achieve high collection efficiencies (99% @5 microns). This is the most efficient low-energy scrubber available—capacities to 200,000+ CFM.
Sly - Venturi Scrubber
The Sly Venturi scrubber efficiently collects fine particulate and mists. Scrubbing liquid is atomized into fine droplets that entrap particles. Adjustable throats for efficiency optimization are standard—capacities to 76,000+ CFM per unit.
Sly - Model Eductor - Wet Scrubber
Eductor scrubbers are designed to remove soluble gases and particulates by inducing a gas flow using high-pressure liquid focused into a venturi throat. This eliminates the need for a separate exhaust fan or blower to transport the contaminant-laden airstream to the filtration device. Additionally, these scrubbers can be used for direct-contact condensation. Each scrubber is custom-engineered to meet specific performance requirements. Its design flexibility makes it very versatile. It can easily be staged with other collection devices, such as impingement plate scrubbers or additional eductor scrubbers.
Sly - Packed Tower Wet Scrubber
Packed tower scrubbers (also referred to as packed bed or packed column scrubbers) are designed for chemical scrubbing of contaminants from gas streams. Internal packing in the scrubber housing provides a large wetted surface area to induce intimate contact between the contaminated gas and the scrubbing liquid. The contaminant is then absorbed into or reacted with the scrubbing liquid. Recirculation of the scrubbing liquid, which may contain caustic or acid scrubbing agents, is often required to achieve the desired outlet emissions.
Sly - Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Wet Scrubber Systems
Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) wet scrubber systems efficiently capture and neutralize hazardous gases and particulates from industrial exhaust gases by passing the contaminated airstream through a specially designed chamber where the gases are absorbed and neutralized, and particulates are collected.
