Clever Buoy™ is an autonomous marine monitoring platform developed by Australian company, Smart Marine Systems Ltd (SMS).  Extensive communications infrastructure has been built into the Clever Buoy™ system which allows the technology to be autonomous and fully self-sufficient whilst deployed at sea. This infrastructure can be paired with a range of data streams available for real-time transfer via the Clever Buoy™ system – which is the backbone for the provision of real-time warning alerts that renders Clever Buoy™ a viable beach safety solution.
