Smarter Technologies’ proprietary network, Orion, The Real-time Data Network™, is an end-to-end, low frequency, long range radio solution. The network is a unique low power ultra-narrow band 433 MHz UHF radio system. Orion complements (but is a significant advance upon) existing smart meter systems and asset trackers that rely on GSM, LoRaWAN or Zigbee HAN.
