The type 1 is our most popular rotary valve due to the simple fact that it is more than adequate for the bulk of rotary valve applications and most all feeder applications. Simple and robust design with the two most popular added features being relieved tips (cuts down on the surface area of the tips for sticky or shearable materials) and shaft air purge (a kit that puts a compressed air purge right at the seals in endplates) Some competitors offer a “low cost alternative” base valve with imported castings in an attempt to compete with our type 1 valve on price but at a cost to you in quality.

The type 2 is our most popular abrasion resistant rotary valve. While it is not our most abrasive resistant valve, neither are most of the products that are considered too abrasive for a standard valve. There are simply a lot of materials that are in the mildly abrasive category that are too much for a standard valve and overkill for a high dollar super abrasion resistant valve. What makes the type 2 rotary valve work as well as an abrasion resistant valve is the closed end rotor design that has bolted on AR500 hardened steel replaceable tips and the housing bore is coated with industrial hard chrome.

Taylor`s IBC2000 is adaptable to nearly any discharge or de-weigh application using bulk bags. The IBC2000 can be easily modified with a number of options in order to handle your specific requirements. These include hoist and trolley, bag agitators to facilitate unloading, iris valves and dust containing discharge outlets.
