This kit provides a great rod selection for rotary cleaning open fireplaces and other masonry flues.  The kit includes 5/8", 3/4" and 13/16" dia. rods.  When cleaning from the bottom up, start with the smaller dia. rods first (5/8" and/or 3/4") then start adding the larger rods as you get farther up the chimney. The 24" Death Star (DSW24) is the best all around whip head for many of your masonry fireplace and smoke chamber cleaning and includes vertical whip lines for cleaning the under side of the cap. The Rotary Power Brushes are great for prefab and masonry fireplace cleaning for lighter build up and work well in smoke chambers.

If you’ve used cable drive systems, you know how they are cumbersome to use, require two man operation and break often. Our SnapLok® system is extremely effective, efficient and is completely one man operation. It has far more versatility than cable drives with a wide selection of rotary cleaning heads and rod sizes. This kit is great for rotary cleaning main trunk lines and branch runs in air duct systems. The mix of different size rods allows you to use the more flexible rods through an access hole while the larger diameter rods can be added once you are in the duct work a long distance. The larger diameter rods will also give you more control when working from the end of the duct work on longer runs. The freestanding rod caddy keeps your rods easily accessible when working in the standing position. The 1/2" dia. rods work great for branch runs from 6" dia. up to 14" dia. The rods are flexible yet have enough stiffness to go long distances. The rods also have stainless steel fittings which are very smooth to connect and disconnect and extremely durable. The brushes are soft enough to be used in flex duct and provide a nice wiping action inside the duct.
