Vodafone - NB-IoT and LTE-M Internet of Things Starter Kit

NB-IoT is most suitable for very low-power devices that only need to send small packets, while LTE-M has the additional advantage of voice over LTE-M, meaning the device can transmit short voice messages (think of emergency monitoring equipment whereby a brief description of a prevalent issue by a staff member can greatly help in finding a solution). This kit comes with an NB-IoT SIM card.

SODAQ - One Wire Temperature Sensor

This 2m long One Wire Temperature Sensor has a waterproof probe and long wire shape which makes it suitable for immersive temperature detection. The chip inside this sensor is the widely adopted DS18B20 used in various other modules. You can still find tons of resources with a quick Google search or over other OSHW communities. The original one includes three wires inside. You need to add an extra resistance to get it working. We adjusted it into a Grove port and had a resistance pre-assembled inside so that you can use it as a regular Grove sensor.

SODAQ - Water Quality Monitor

The SODAQ Water Quality Monitor is a fully autonomous, solar-powered water quality sensor that measures water quality and temperature. This EC data is sent over NB-IoT, allowing to detect change in any water at an early stage. Continuous monitoring of EC data in combination with sample lab analyses provides accurate understanding of the interaction between any water and its surroundings. The SODAQ Water Quality Monitor is a trusted solution already used by water authorities, local governments and in the agricultural sector.
