A pedestrian crossing system wirelessly triggering lights on both sides of a crossing by pushing either button. A highly visible light spar has multiple flash patterns showing on both faces of the spar as well as a pedestrian advisory side light. This system is scalable to accommodate more solar or batteries for less than ideal sites as well as additional components such as audible pushbuttons or crossing illumination.

The combination of high efficiency LED signals with solar powered wireless technology has made for a lot more options for pedestrians to cross roadways more safely. By having a system that does not require cabling between different points and fully autonomously powered, engineers have more options on road crossing points as well as substantial cost savings on infrastructure.

There are many areas that have not been updated to changing sizes of vehicles over the years. A lot of these low lying bridges and overpasses are in rural areas where power does not exist. If the truck is detected to be too high for an upcoming bridge or overpass a message will show with wirelessly triggered flashing beacons or a message sign to attract the attention of the truckers allowing them to safely exit the highway and go through the detour. In many cases the cost of one impact on a structure surpasses the cost of installing a system that will warn drivers prior to impact that their load is over height.

School zone road safety is of critical importance for any community. Often it is in the "rush hour" that students are on the roads at the same time as motorists and there are the inevitable distractions for both that can lead to accidents. Signals on a schedule mated with the appropriate signage is an obvious reminder to those not aware of the potential for injury or a substantial traffic fine.

Every community has it`s "problem" intersections where for whatever reason there are higher rates of collisions due to motorists ignoring or not seeing a stop sign. This can be a particular problem on rural roads where speeds at the intersection can cause fatal accidents. A solar powered red flashing beacon is a fast, easy and inexpensive way to make a stop that much more obvious. The same system can be used with amber signals to bring greater attention to tight curves, chance of flooding, etc.

Accidents involving wildlife and motorists cause substantial property damage as well as deaths and injury on a regular basis on roads worldwide. Recognized wildlife corridors or areas of frequent wildlife/vehicle collision can easily be brought to the attention of motorists through signalized signage that is either on a continuous flash or scheduled to flash at those times of the day when collisions are most likely to occur.
