DSI Alpha-1 Fluid is an ultra-pure, ultra-clean fire resistant insulating oil. It’s a one-step retrofill solution to upgrading the fire resistance of standard mineral oil transformers. It’s an excellent choice for original fill for transformers, especially those that will be placed in very cold or very hot environments. It’s made from the same type of synthetic hydrocarbon oils that are used to make synthetic motor oils. Alpha-1 is compatible with standard transformer oil, with PCB fluids, with Beta or R-Temp fluid, and with vegetable fluids.

Beta Fluid® is fire resistant insulating oil for use in transformers and switchgear. Made from highly refined petroleum oils, Beta Fluid is the industry standard for fire resistant oils. Beta Fluid is Classified by Underwriter’s Laboratories (UL)* and Listed by Factory Mutual for use in transformers located indoors per U.S. National Electrical Code Section 450-23. Beta Fluid has excellent electrical and physical characteristics. It is compatible with standard transformer oil and the transformer materials used with standard mineral oil.

High purity Acetylene Black grades in powder form with structural and electrical properties that make it ideal for a variety of applications such as batteries, conductive coatings, and rubber compounds.

Branched and linear alkylbenzene (BAB) is produced by reading benzene with various propylene oligomers to produce different molecular weights. Linear alkylbenzene (LAB) is produced by reacting benzene with linear alpha olefins producing a range of different molecular weight products. Alkylates provide superior low temperature properties, excellent oxidative and thermal stability, compatible with elastomers, seal swell and improved solubility. End uses: raw materials for surfactants and synthetic sulfonates, base oil for specialty lubricants and functional fiuids. Used in agriculture and electronic components and equipment.

OptiCool-A Fluid is a highly efficient dielectric heat transfer fluid used to cool electrical automotive engines and other equipment. OptiCool-A has excellent heat transfer characteristics and a very high dielectric strength. Containing advanced oxidation inhibitors, it provides longer service life at high temperatures. Compared to standard transformer oil, OptiCool-A biodegrades faster and has better heat transfer characteristics. Gallon for gallon, OptiCool-A Fluid is almost 10% lighter than mineral oil. OptiCool-A’s enhanced electronic cooling performance allows equipment to be smaller in size and minimize the operating temperatures in any equipment.

Hydrotreated paraffinic base oils with viscosities from 2 cSt to 12 cSt and hydroisomerized hydrogenated paraffinic hydrocarbon ranging in viscosity from 2 cSt to 8 cSt at 100 C.

Soltex provides compounds that provide cable insulation and block water ingress into telecommunications, fiber optic, and co-axial cable constructions. Naptel flooding compounds are typically applied to outer conductor core, metal armor, and between polymeric sheath layers. Formulated with synthetic hydrocarbon fluids and wax/polymer blends that provide oxidation inhibition and prevent moisture ingress in telecom cables.

Alpha-2 Fluid is a dielectric and heat transfer oil for special applications where operating temperatures are very high or ambient temperatures are very low. Made with 100% synthetic hydrocarbon oils, it is compounded with the most advanced antioxidants available. Providing excellent heat transfer characteristics and low-temperature properties, it has outstanding oxidation resistance. Biodegradable and universally compatible with mineral transformer oil and standard insulation materials, Alpha-2 Fluid cools equipment better than other fluids. Due to its high quality, advanced base oils and oxidation inhibitors it provides longer service life at high temperatures.

The Soltex line of ThixoCal™ products include very light colored “Gelled” or Crystalline Calcium Sulfonates in solvent, oil and water carriers. These products can be used as purchased or further formulated for incorporation into numerous types of rust preventative coatings, greases and lubricants.

Soltex’s line of additives includes polymeric modifiers, tackifiers, dispersants, detergents, VII/PPD, anti-wear/EP, grease additives, antioxidants, food grade and packages for the lubricant market.
