Sorbster offers a simple, self-contained treatment unit ready to be deployed on-site at your location. The Clean Crate can be utilized as on-site water testing, rented for temporary projects, or purchased outright as your permanent solution. We made a treatment unit that we would want to use: a simple yet effective design that minimizes superfluous costs and focuses on functionality.

Sorbster Se-1 is a highly functionized, enriched, alumina media that covalently bonds soluble selenium and other trace contaminants to its active sites. It is suitable for use across a broad range of water qualities, and is optimized for removal of Selenium from wastewater.

Sorbster Hg-1 media is functionalized, enriched alumina media that covalently bonds soluble metals and trace contaminants to its active sites. Sorbster Hg-1 has a very high proficiency for the rapid removal of soluble ionic mercury from all water streams. Sorbster Hg-1 adsorbent media is optimized for removal of Mercury from wastewater. Sorbster Hg-1 is a functionalized, enriched alumina media that covalently bonds soluble mercury and other trace contaminants to its active sites. Sorbster Hg-1 is used to achieve low mercury concentrations in wastewater from industrial processes and groundwater.

Sorbster Cu-1 is a promoted alumina media which covalently bonds soluble copper to its active sites. Sorbster Cu-1 is to be used in applications requiring the removal of copper from wastewaters. The MCLG for copper is 1.3 mg/L, or 1.3 ppm. The EPA has set this level of protection based on the best available science to prevent potential health problems.

Sorbster MM-1 media is a highly functionalized, chemically enhanced alumina media that covalently bonds multiple soluble metals and trace contaminants to its active sites. Metals such as arsenic, selenium, zinc, boron, mercury, and hexavalent chromium are permanently removed from the water. Sorbster MM-1 can also be used to remove selected anions and cyanide.
