Dredging Services

Our dredging services are offered throughout Florida, the Bahamas and Exumas and the Caribbean Islands and the process consists of dredging to remove silt and sand buildup or deepening navigation channels and harbors or marinas, as well as removal of aguatic vegetation. The spoils from dredging are dewatered in either constructed holding cells or pumped into Geotextile Tubes and Bags unless otherwise indicated on the project specifications.

Silt & Sand Removal Services

Dredging Spoils Removal; Dredged materials can be used in construction projects. Projects sought for navigation and maintenance dredging, the objective is to remove the material from its original place. Dredging is useful to deepen navigational channels, remove sandbars, clear unwanted aquatic vegetation and remove toxins. The process of silt or sand remove leaves the spoils, which will need to be dewatered over time. Holding cells can be built to retain the dredged silt or sand, the spoils can be pumped to another location in the marina, pumped onto a container or pumped into GeoTextile tubes or bags. The decision of what to do with the spoils will vary greatly depending on the project needs.
