Single Component Coatings
SPI - Urethane Elastomer
For more than 30 years, DURATHANE II™ has provided weather-resistant coating for polyurethane foam insulation and roofs. This elastomeric moisture-cured urethane coating has excellent adhesion to polyurethane foam, asphalt shingles, wood, concrete and masonry. It’s also is wear resistant, waterproof and fire resistant on a variety of surfaces. Moisture does not affect the elastomer during application, it only makes it set faster. The product cures in 24 hours. DURATHANE II™ provides greater UV (ultra violet) protection than similar generic coatings. With high tensile strength and a high elongation value, DURATHANE II ™ will resist lateral movement, shear and allow for normal expansion and contraction.
SPI PTC - Polymeric Coatings
PTC™ is a color stable, solvent-free, waterborne dispersion that can be used in a broad number of coating applications. Film produced from this versatile coating demonstrates outstanding abrasion resistance, flexibility and wear resistance properties. The product gives a long-lasting, high-gloss finish that provides weatherability, and is water and fire resistant to a variety of surfaces. It can also be use as a top coat over aromatic bedliners. Aquaseal - Elastomeric Bridging Polyurea
AQUASEAL ™ HI-RISE X3 (X3) is a unique elastomer that expands approximately 300% of its original volume during the spray application. In place yield is ±50 mils per gallon per 100 sq. ft. when sprayed through a SPI LOCK N LOAD™ gun. As X3 rises, it bridges substrate imperfections to virtually eliminate blowholes and pinholes when applied to porous surfaces such as vertical poured concrete and concrete masonry units (cmu). X3 is formulated with the “ULTRA BOND™” molecule therefore is self-priming in most instances.
PolyShield Product Series
AMP - Polyurea Coating for Protective Applications
AMP 100 UB spray-applied, plural-component polyurea is a unique synergy of aliphatic and aromatic polymer chemistry. AMP 100 UB pure polyurea is formulated using amine terminated polyether resins, amine chain extenders, and aliphatic and aromatic prepolymers. For many applications this highly cross-linked elastomer offers an economical alternative to pure aliphatic protective coatings. AMP 100 UB can be used as a stand-alone product or as a topcoat over aromatic polyureas, polyurethane’s, or hybrids.
PolyShield - Elastomeric Polyurea
POLYSHIELD HT 100F is a fast-set, high performance, spray-applied, plural component, pure polyurea elastomer. This system is based on amine-terminated polyether resins, amine chain extenders, and prepolymers. It provides a cost effective flexible, tough, resilient monolithic membrane with water and chemical resistance.
ChemShield Product Series
PTU - Polythiourea Elastomer Coating
PTU is a new generation of high-performance polyurea coating and is the result of six years of development and field testing. This chemical resistant coating provides high-ductility, allowing it to move with expanding and contracting surfaces. PTU can be sprayed to any thickness in one application and returned to service in a matter of hours.
WaterShield Product Series
WaterSafe - High-Tensile Polyurea Coating
WATERSAFE™ II is formulated for high tensile and elongation properties to bridge cracks and accommodate movement on cementitious substrates. WATERSAFE™ II is ANSI/NSF 61 compliant as tested by an ANSI accredited lab and is approved for direct contact with potable water. It is a fast setting, rapid curing, 100% solids, flexible aromatic, two component spray polyurea that can be applied to suitably prepared concrete and metal surfaces. It may be applied in single or multiple applications without appreciable sagging and is relatively insensitive to moisture and temperature during processing allowing application in most temperatures.
