SCADA is Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System. These systems will both acquire data and control devices remotely. All the data is passed to a Human Machine Interface (HMI) for presentation. The HMI is used to display the remote location schematic, display alarms, display trends, generate reports and control devices.
