Spectrum Water Technology products
Spectrum - Products for Beneficial Reuse
In our product qualification process, we work to identify and use chemicals even if they are off-spec, contaminated or used. We can help increase the value of your current reuse strategy and/or create value from waste streams you currently dispose of. We can work on placing your secondary chemicals, including co-products, byproducts, and off-spec chemicals which can replace prime chemicals in products and processes. By placing your secondary chemicals, Spectrum can help you reduce waste, decrease costs and increase your revenue. We ask for the opportunity to assist you in this process. Types of products which may qualify include surfactants, aromatics, glycols, acids, caustic, olefins, amines, aliphatics, ketones, polymers, petroleum based products, metals recycling, alcohols, etc.
Spectrum - Turn Key Dewatering and Turnkey Specialty Projects
It is a fact that all industrial and municipal facilities have the routine need for cleaning tanks, vessels, ponds, impoundments and the like, which typically also requires dewatering for efficient and cost effective disposal. Spectrum’s field staff takes pride in their work and in Spectrum’s ability to make an often difficult cleaning or dewatering project effective. The method(s) chosen by Spectrum are most often the most cost effective, and the most time efficient.
Spectrum - Wastewater Products
Spectrum water carries a full line of wastewater products. The products include: Coagulants, Flocculants, Defoamers, Custom Nutrient Blends, Custom Bacterial Blends. These products and the need or lack of need in a wastewater system becomes core in Spectrum`s ability to analyze a wastewater process and create a path for efficiency optimization or cost savings.

Spectrum - Divided Phase Separator
The Divided Phase Separator is a roll-off container with a stainless steel screen covering the entire inside of the container. The Divided Phase Separator, or Turbo, has a patented middle wall designed to increase surface area by 33%, thereby increasing dewatered sludge by 50%, essentially reducing transportation costs by 50%. There is a drain space between the wall and screen. A disposable cloth or screen is installed as a liner and the slurries or sludges are deposited inside the filter. The liquid drains through the filter, goes to the bottom and runs to the drains at the back door. When the solids are dewatered, the container is picked up with a roll-off truck and hauled to the desired location to be dumped and returned for reuse. The filter cloth is inexpensive, disposable, nontoxic and nonhazardous. The Phase Separator can also be equipped with a fixed on permanent filter. This filter cloth is inexpensive, disposable, incinerable, nontoxic and nonhazardous.
Spectrum - Fixed Filter Phase Separator
A dewatering device that is: SIMPLE, EFFECTIVE, INEXPENSIVE, and SAFE. The Phase Separator with fixed filter panels is a dewatering unit used for polymer treated and certain types of coarse or non-sticking materials. The material is put into the container, the filter retains the solids, and the liquid drains through the filter and out the drains at the back door. When the solids are dewatered, the container is picked up by a roll-off truck and hauled to the desired location to be dumped and returned for reuse.
Spectrum - Solids Removal and Concentrating Unit
The Solids Removal Concentrating Unit and Clarifier is a linear solids removal unit that acts as a thickener and in the process of removing solids, also acts as a clarifier of liquid streams. This design is patented by Spectrum in three different countries: US, Canada, and Mexico. The intent, design, and function of the Solids Removal Concentrating Unit and Clarifier is focused on the solids handling problems encountered in flowing liquids containing various quantities of these solids. The Solids Removal Concentrating Unit and Clarifier can remove and process a considerable amount of solids per day from one pound to hundreds of tons with minor control changes and is not sensitive to flow or liquid/solid ratio variations. Floating materials may also be removed with the skimmer.
