Our standard barriers are equipped with 22 oz PVC oil boom fabric around the flotation compartment that offer additional debris and oil containment at the water line. We also install a skirt section below the flotation compartment that can be constructed from either permeable, woven polypropylene geotextile fabrics or impermeable polypropylene and PVC fabrics. This skirt section can be set to any desired depth. In addition, our flotation compartment is entirely heat-sealed (including all flotation elements) on each end, creating a watertight compartment that prevents any floats from shifting.
