SPIR STAR AG products

To complement our thermoplastic hoses, we also offer a wide range of hose fittings in a variety of thread types, sizes and materials. The range of fittings includes High Pressure, Medium Pressure, NPT, JIC, BSPP, Type-M and Metric fittings.

To extend the safety and service life of our high pressure hoses, SPIR STAR offers appropriate hose accessories. For instance, hose lines can be ordered with hose protection sleeves, protective tubing as well as bend protection.

SPIR STAR high pressure needle valves are manufactured to the highest quality standards, achieving high safety and durability even under severe operating conditions. The UHP valves can be used with both gaseous and liquid media and can be opened or closed in 4 ½ turns.

Since we attach great importance to the quality of our products, all SPIR STAR high pressure ball valves are manufactured in the “trunnion style”. Due to the more complex technical design of the valve, a significantly longer service life can be achieved compared to other ball valves. It should also be emphasized that the valves can be offered with different orifices. In addition, high pressure ball valves with pneumatic or electric actuation are possible.

SPIR STAR high pressure check valves are characterized by their long service life and thus prevent backflow and damage in pressure systems. Here, SPIR STAR AG offers both ball and O-ring check valves. While the O-ring check valve is often used in gas applications, the ball check valve is used in high temperature ranges and dynamic applications.

In addition to the high pressure valves listed above, SPIR STAR also offers pressure relief valves, which can prevent pressure peaks in systems. Customized double block and bleed valves and manifolds are also available upon request.

In order to connect hose assemblies or to always have the right connection element at hand in pressure systems, SPIR STAR^® offers a variety of high pressure adapters. We offer flexible connection options for applications with liquid and gaseous media in the fields of oil & gas, hydraulics, and water jets. All products are made of 316 stainless steel as a standard to withstand the high temperatures and pressures typical of the application.

SPIR STAR’s high pressure tubing, which can be used in the pressure range up to 4,140 bar / 60,000 psi, has a standard length of 6 m. It is seamlessly drawn from stainless steel, which gives it its high quality and safety. In addition to standard lengths, SPIR STAR^® also offers cutting to shorter lengths. A thread / cone can also be fitted if required.

Regardless of the industry, SPIR STAR offers cross-industry solutions of various high pressure couplings. The range of couplers includes both plug-in couplers and screw-type couplers. The portfolio also includes couplers with or without integrated check valves. The maximum possible working pressure is 2,070 bar / 30,000 psi.
