Spooner - Model RTO - Regenerative Thermal Oxidiser
A Regenerative Thermal Oxidiser (RTO) destroys emissions through the process of high temperature thermal oxidation. The RTO has become the most widely used emission abatement technology for industrial and manufacturing processes due to its ability to re-use the thermal energy generated during operation to reduce operating costs and energy consumption.
Spooner - Thermal Recuperative Oxidisers
A Thermal Recuperative Oxidiser destroys emissions through high temperature thermal oxidation, using the proper mix of temperature, residence time, turbulence and oxygen.
Spooner - Regenerative Catalytic Oxidiser
A Regenerative Catalytic Oxidiser combines RTO technology with catalyst technology. During operation, the VOC-laden process air enters the oxidiser via flow control valves that direct the stream into energy recovery chambers. A layer of catalyst near the combustion chamber facilitates oxidation at temperatures up to 400°C lower than a standard RTO, further reducing the carbon emissions and operating costs of this already efficient thermal oxidiser.
Spooner - Catalytic Recuperative Oxidiser
Spooner Anguil design and manufacture a range of catalytic oxidisers including Catalytic Recuperative Oxidisers (Catox) and Regenerative Catalytic Oxidisers (RCO). Both technologies destroy emissions at lower temperatures than thermal oxidisation alone through the inclusion of a catalyst in the system design.
Spooner - Rotor Concentrator
he Spooner Anguil concentrator is an adsorption system designed to concentrate a large volume, low concentration process exhaust into a much smaller, highly concentrated air stream. The oxidiser system for this air stream can then be much smaller in size and utilises the higher emissions to lower operating costs.
Spooner - Model DFTO - Direct-Fired Thermal Oxidiser
A Direct-Fired Thermal Oxidiser (DFTO) destroys emissions by the process of combustion, using the proper combination of temperature, residence time and turbulence within the combustion chamber. The DFTO is an ideal abatement technology for process streams heavily laden with pollutants or intermittent batch processes where the oxidiser can come on-line relatively quickly.
