GC - Preconfigured GC Systems

SRI - Rack-Mountable System

The Model 410 is a rack-mountable GC that offers the performance of a laboratory gas chromatograph. Excellent for industrial applications, where rack mounting is required, the Model 410 mounts in a shelf-equipped 19-inch rack. It can be configured with multiple detectors, a single on-column, heated flash vaporization, split/splitless or PTV injector, and a gas sampling valve. The column oven will accommodate 4-inch capillary or packed columns. All gases are controlled by electronic pressure controllers (EPC), and the carrier gas pressure is programmable. With the built-in PeakSimple data system, all that is needed to connect the GC to your computer is a serial or USB cable, depending on the data system option selected. It features the familiar, easy-to-read SRI Instruments display panel and mounts on your existing rack cabinet’s sliding shelf for accessibility.

GC - Detectors

SRI - Catalytic Combustion Detector (CCD)

The CCD is about as sensitive as a TCD, but it has the hydrocarbon selectivity of an FID while capable of operating on air alone. Because the CCD needs no compressed gases like hydrogen or helium, it can be used in SRI’s Gas-lessTM GCs where a built-in, ″whisper quiet″ air compressor supplies the ambient air carrier gas. The CCD can also be used as a hydrocarbon monitor in non-chromatographic applications where the CCD senses the total hydrocarbon content of a flowing air stream, or as a hydrogen/hydrocarbon leak detector.

SRI - Flame Ionization Detector (FPD)

The Flame Photometric Detector can detect sulfur compounds, such as H2S or SO2, down to about 200 ppb and phosphorus compounds to 10 ppb. While not 100% selective, the FPD is 100,000 times more sensitive to sulfur and phosphorus compounds than hydrocarbons. The phosphorus response is linear, and the sulfur response is exponential (twice the sulfur yields four times the peak area).

GC - Injectors

SRI - Thermal Desorber

The SRI Thermal Desorber permits volatile and semi-volatile compounds in soil, or other solid matrices, to be injected and analyzed with little or no sample preparation, and with very high sensitivity. With the thermal desorber, no solvent extraction is required. This is a major convenience for field operations and helps save on costs. Little operator skill is needed, and 4-10 analyses can be run per hour, depending on specific requirements.

SRI - Heated Flash Vaporization Injector

The SRI Heated Flash Vaporization injector is useful for applications that require flash vaporization of the sample before the column, such as desorption of SPME fibers or injection of extremely dirty samples where the non-volatile residue must be trapped in the injection liner.

SRI - HPLC Pump System

The S 9425/S 9430/S 9432 HPLC Pump System is a highly adaptable and potent HPLC solvent delivery system. It is one of the most adaptable pump systems on the market thanks to its modular design. Isocratic or Quaternary Gradient Pump for S 9425/S 9430 and a Binary High-Pressure Gradient Pump S 9432 are the conceivable setups.

SRI - Sample Injector System

The S 6250/S 6300 Sample Injector System is a very flexible and powerful HPLC autosampler with excellent reproducibility and linearity properties. Variable vial racks and adaptors for microtiter plates as well as a multitude of firmware options make this system highly adaptable and suitable for any analytical application.

SRI - Column Oven

The S 5120 Column Oven is a contact heat transfer oven for high-temperature stability and accuracy. The columns are mounted inside the column oven in an optimized column holder which encloses the complete column to get the best temperature transfer between the heater and the column. Up to three 350 mm columns can be mounted at the same time.

SRI - Vacuum Degasser

The S 8515 Vacuum Degasser is an online degasser system with high efficiency. Dissolved gases are removed from the solvents by applying vacuum to a semi-permeable membrane.
