With more than 1,800 units in operation, the “RF” series dryers are Stalam’s best sellers. They are multi-purpose dryers particularly suitable for yarn in packages and cakes as well as for worsted fibres (tops) in bobbin and bump form.

Stalam has developed specific engineering solutions to get the best out of the Radio Frequency technology for the drying of glass fibres: Full stainless steel construction of inlet and outlet tables, ceiling and floor of the drying cabinets, electrodes, moist air exhausters. Special strong, modular type conveyor belt, made of fire-proof composite material. Wide conveyor belt and electrode system, to ensure low power density, gentle drying and better moisture removal using low electrode voltages (ie. no arcing occurs in the drying cabinets).
