Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM) products
Elements - Platinum
Stanford - Platinum Crucible and Mold
Our platinum crucibles & molds are manufactured in 5%Au-Pt alloy. 5%Au-Pt crucibles and molds are used for sample preparation prior to XRF analysis. This material’s “non-wetting” property facilitates the removal of bead samples after fusion.
Stanford - Platinum Wire (Pt Wire)
Platinum Wire enjoys a wide range of applications thanks to its inert properties, high melting point, ductility, and resistance to corrosion and oxidation. High-quality Platinum Wire is on sale at Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM). Equipped with rich experience and knowledge in the metal industry, Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM) is a leading Platinum Wire (Pt Wire) manufacturer and supplier across the world, and we also can manufacture custom shape of pure platinum metal or platinum alloys according to your requests.

Stanford - Standard Crucibles
Size: Customized; Materials: PtAu5 (95% Pt and 5% Au); Purity: Au ≥ 99.99%, Ag ≥ 99.99%, Ir ≥ 99.95%
Stanford - Platinum Tipped Tong (Pt Tipped Tong)
Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM) is a leading supplier of platinum products. We provide high quality Platinum Tipped Tong at competitive prices.
Non-ferrous Metal - Tantalum
Stanford - Tantalum Foil / Tantalum Strip
Tantalum (Ta) is a dark blue-gray metal that is very heavy, ductile and hard and has high corrosion resistance. Tantalum is especially resistant to chemicals at temperatures below 150 °C and can only be dissolved with hydrofluouric acid. It has the fourth highest melting point of all metals and is able to form extremely thin and protective oxide layers for high-quality capacitors, making it an excellent material for foil.
Stanford - Niobium Wire
Our high-quality niobium wire is used in chemistry, electronics, aviation & aerospace, high pressure sodium lamp, reaction container, heat exchanger & sleeve materials.
Rare Earth Element - Lutetium
Stanford - Lutetium Metal
Lutetium was the last natural rare earth element to be discovered. It is a silvery white metal which is corrosion resistant in dry air. Lutetium metal is slightly unstable in air at standard conditions, but it easily burns at 150 °C to form lutetium oxide.
Evaporation Materials
Stanford - Neodymium Evaporation Materials
High purity evaporation materials play a huge role in deposition processes to ensure high quality deposited film. Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM) specializes in producing up to 99.95% purity neodymium evaporation materials using quality assurance processes to guarantee product reliability.
