The Stark S-500 Threaded Closure is a widely used closure in the oil and gas industry, designed for robust performance and cost-effectiveness. Stark has enhanced the standard design to improve operation, incorporating features that eliminate hammering and enhance operator control. Manufactured in diameters ranging from 2 inches to 52 inches (DN50 to DN1300) and pressure series 150 through 2500, it meets various standards including ASME B31.3/B31.4/B31.8 and CSA Z662 Cat. II. The S-500 features a flat sealing surface for optimal sealing across all sizes, and a bidirectional hinge design for versatile operation. Standards for specific sizes include wrench openings and PAV compliance as per ASME BPVC VIII DIV. 1. The S-2000 Clamp Ring Closure is designed primarily for pipeline applications ranging from 2” to 48” (DN50 to DN1200) in diameter. It addresses various pipeline requirements and certifications, being certified to ASME B31.3/B31.4/B31.8/CSA Z662 Cat. II with a 0.5/0.6 design factor. The high-quality components are strategically placed to ensure user-friendliness and safety. It features an O-Ring location outside the working area to protect from tools and debris. The pressure alert valve is designed to function without needing an O-Ring, and the closure's design increases structural strength to prevent warpage. The door is designed per ASME BPVC VIII Division 1 and is U-Stamp compliant, with additional compliance to UG-35.2 of ASME BPVC VIII Division 1 for the pressure alert valve. The materials comply with NACE MR0175 standards, and it operates over a temperature range of -50° to + 400°F (-45° to 204°C). Options include a flanged closure with welded connection or one-piece, ASME BPVC VIII Div. 1 U-Stamp certification for the door or full closure, and customizable features like wall thickness, vents, and special materials.

The S-3000 is Stark’s Internal Door Closure, available in diameters from 6” to 84” (DN150 to DN2100) and in pressure series 150 to 2500. This closure utilizes an internal locking ring that slides into the closure hub. Once expanded to the closed position, the locking ring assembly securely latches the door in place. The components are built for durability, ensuring the locking ring operates effectively over long-term use. Designed for ease of operation regardless of orientation, size, or pressure rating, the S-3000 is an ideal choice for Pipeline and Pressure Vessel applications. It features a broad size range, pressure series, and different sealing designs, such as O-Rings for both horizontal and vertical closures. Compliant with standards like ASME B31.3/B31.4/B31.8, CSA Z662 Cat. II, and ASME SEC VIII DIV. 1, the S-3000 offers reliable performance in temperatures ranging from -50° to +400°F (-45° to 204°C).
