Signal Conditioners
Status - Thermocouple and Passive mA Signals
The SEM1620 signal conditioner provides a 3 wire isolated voltage output signal and accepts RTD, Thermocouple, mV and passive current sensor inputs. It has been designed to accept most common process and temperature sensor inputs and provide the user with a three wire voltage output signal. Isolation is provided between input and output and all temperature ranges are linear to temperature. Designed for ease of use, our direct USB interface is fitted for quick and easy configuration. Just connect a standard USB cable between the SEM1620 and your PC and you’re ready to go. Using our free configuration software, your PC will automatically read the current configuration data and guide you through any changes you wish to make.
Status - Suitable For Strain Gauge / Load Cell Sensors
The SEM1600/B is a “smart” powered bridge amplifier for use with strain gauges or load cell signals. The product has a built in capability to scale the input signal to a process value while the output stage offers either voltage, bipolar voltage or active / passive current re-transmission signals. The product comes with an AC/DC power supply that will operate in the range (10 to 48) V DC and (10 to 32) V AC making the device ideal for battery operation. An additional volt free contact input is available for tare setting using a remote switch. The high precision input stage of the device allows for a bridge excitation voltage of 5V DC to be used as opposed to the traditional 10V DC. This reduces the power requirement for the bridge supply and up to four bridges (cells) may be connected to the input.
Status - Smart RTD Thermocouple Slidewire Active Signal Conditioner
The SEM1600T accepts resistance or mV signals from RTD, Slidewire or Thermocouple sensors. The flexible design allows the use of any resistive sensor within the range of (10 to 10500) 0hms including Pt100, 500, 1000, Ni or Cu sensors, slide wire sensors up to 100 K Ohms and 13 different thermocouple types. Other sensor characteristics or your own 22 point linearisation characteristic (for slidewire, linear resistance or mV) can be downloaded into the product enabling you to adapt it exactly to your application.
Status - Thermocouple Sensors and mV, mA signals
The SEM1630 provides a dual relay switch function for RTD or Thermocouple sensors as well as mA and mV signals. Its relays can be programmed to be either high, low or deviation alarms. Designed for ease of use, our USB interface is fitted for quick and easy configuration to all 3 products. Just connect a standard USB cable between the product and your PC and you’re ready to go. Using our free configuration software, your PC will automatically read the current configuration data and guide you through any changes you wish to make. To further help save time, the SEM1630 range does not need to be wired to a power supply during the configuration process, it is powered via the USB interface from your PC.
Connection Heads-New
Ex Flame Proof Connection Heads
The SCH50 series is manufactured from cast aluminium finished in a blue epoxy paint, or stainless steel and is certified as an Ex d flameproof connection head. It has been designed to house our SEM200, 300 and TTR series temperature transmitters as well as ceramic connection blocks. There is a display window option which allows the process value to be displayed when used with our DM700HM/XI loop powered indicator. All versions come with a flame proof collar and we can supply temperature probes specially designed to suit Ex d applications. Sealed to IP68, the SCH50 can be specified with base or side entries.
Hazardous Area Products
ATEX / IEC Ex Approved Smart RTD / Slidewire Temperature Transmitter
The TTR220X is approved to ATEX and IECEx standards allowing for use in hazardous area applications. The TTR200X ‘smart’ transmitter is designed for use with RTD or Slidewire sensors. Other sensor characteristics or your own 22 point linearisation characteristic (for slidewire or linear resistance) can be downloaded into the product enabling you to adapt it exactly to your application.
In Head Temperature Transmitters
Status - Smart RTD / Slidewire Temperature Transmitter
The TTR200 ‘smart’ transmitter is designed for use with RTD or Slidewire sensors. The flexible design allows the use of any resistive sensor within the range of (10 to 10500)Ω. Therefore Pt100, 500, 1000, Ni or Cu sensors as well as slide wire sensors up to 100KΩ can be accommodated. Other sensor characteristics or your own 22 point linearisation characteristic (for slidewire or linear resistance) can be downloaded into the product allowing you to adapt it exactly to your application.
Panel Meters
RTD / Thermocouple Input Panel Meters
The DM3410 panel meter accepts RTD and Thermocouple inputs and displays the process value on a high efficiency daylight readable LED display. The highly innovative case design features option `Pods` which can be plugged in without dismantling or re-calibration. These provide optional outputs of programmable current and 2 x trip relays for alarm points.
Temperature Transmitters - Temperature Transmitters Head Mounted
Status - Manual Range Configuration, Suitable for Pt100 Sensors
The SEM203P is a push button configurable in-head temperature transmitter that accepts PT100 temperature sensors. It converts the sensor output over a configured temperature range, to a standard industrial (4 to 20) mA transmission signal. A simple push button operation (meaning a PC is not required for configuration), allows the user to not only select the desired range and burnout direction but also perform user trim at both (4 and 20) mA points.
Status - Manual Range Configuration, Suitable for Thermocouple Sensors
The SEM203TC is a cost effective in head transmitter that accepts thermocouple temperature sensors. It converts the thermocouple sensor output over a configured range, to a standard industrial (4 to 20) mA transmission signal. A simple push button operation (meaning no PC is required) allows the user to select TC type, burnout direction and select fixed ranges and trim the (4 and 20) mA points. If required the desired range can be specified at the time of order, removing the need for user configuration.
