STI - Two and Three-Phase Separators

STI - Deaerator
A deaerator is an equipment that is used to remove dissolved oxygen, carbon dioxide or other non -condensable gases from the water before it is allowed to enter the boiler or steam generator. This water that is to be admitted to the steam generator for steam production is feed-water. Deaerator removes the gases to the lowest possible limit to avoid corrosion.

STI - Distillation Colum
Distillation is one of the most common liquid-liquid separation processes. Distillation is the process of separating two or more miscible liquids by taking advantage of the boiling point differences between the liquids.
STI - Reboiler
The liquid outlet from bottom of a distillation column is close to its initial boiling point, due to near equilibrium conditions on each of the distillation column trays. This liquid is mostly made of the heavy component from the mixture at the distillation column inlet. But some amount of the light component also remains dissolved in this liquid. To recover this light component in its vapor form and thus also to improve purity of the heavy component in bottoms outlet, this liquid stream is sent to a reboiler. STI product range include different types of reboilers like kettle type, fired, thermosiphon reboilers etc.
