STM - Model MF Series - Hammer Mill Crusher

The principle of operation is that of a hammer mill, with rotating reels that move at low speed within the shape of the same.The rotation of the hammers and their setup with staggered reels enable easy pick-up of the product from the top of the mill and the breakage of any lumps and harder deposits of material. Thus the screen ensures the passage of all resized product particles through the grinding motion and the selection of the rotor.

STM - Model MJS Series - Fluidized Bed Jet Mill

Construction specifications: The fluidized bed jet mill consists of a grinding unit which uses high pressure gas, and a variable rotary classifier for selection of particle size in the milled product, all in a single compact and versatile machine. The high impact speed and accelerated air flow from the nozzles produces a high collision speed and very efficient grinding. Compared with other types of air mills, this machine can save around 30-40% of energy.

Dosing

STM - Model MD Series - Microdosers

The new technological design of MDS microdosers gives significant improvements in performance compared to the old style. All the parts in contact with the product are made of stainless steel or non-stick material. The body of the MDS microdoser is made from a single cast from materials which allow the powder to move freely in the chamber with the vibrations produced by the operation of the machine itself. The chamber can be made of various materials according to the use of the powder to be processed. The capacity can be varied with a frequency variator or inverter. The dosing elements can be replaced individually, and exchanged for different tools.  Where the product has a tendency to become compressed, the standard dosing tool can be changed, replacing the continual spiral (type A) with a memory wire spring (type B), to avoid compacting the material between the spirals.


STM - Distribution Chambers for Dosing Machines

STM distribution chambers are suitable for a wide range of applications and solutions to dosage problems where more than one machine needs to be fed under the silo from a single primary storage source. We supply modular machinery, adaptable in terms of number of outlets, size of screw feeders and speed of product extraction from the primary storage. The distribution chamber is the simplest, yet most secure and efficient solution for the distribution of products which do not flow easily, or where considerations of installation and running costs dictate the splitting of product between several lines of machinery.

However, there are certain market sectors where the interest is focused more on the quality of the end product, as well as small enterprises which are synthesizing new compounds, investigating new applications or preparing patent applications, and here the quantities required are limited to a few kilogrammes, or even a few grammes.
