StrataGrid is a high performance soil reinforcement product. It is made with polyester yarns that have a high molecular weight and extraordinary tensile strength. These yarns are then knitted into a dimensionally stable network of apertures to form the geometric grid shape which offers tensile reinforcement to the soil in both the vertical and horizontal directions.

StrataGRS is used in the Integrated Bridge System as part of the FHWA’s Every Day Counts (EDC) initiative. This system reduces bridge construction time and cost. Instead of conventional bridge support technology for bridge abutments, Geosynthetic Reinforced Soil (GRS) Integrated Bridge System (IBS) technology uses alternating layers of compacted granular fill material and closely spaced geosynthetic reinforcement to provide support for the bridge. GRS also provides a smooth transition from the bridge onto the roadway, and alleviates the “bump at the bridge” problem caused by uneven settlement between the bridge and approaching roadway.

For over 30 years, biaxial geogrids have been utilized in pavement construction and soil stabilization projects throughout the US and worldwide. StrataBase® is Strata’s innovative geogrid that is made from extruded polypropylene which provides superior stiffness, aperture stability and interlock capabilities for structural reinforcement of paved and unpaved roads.

One of the strongest structural shapes demonstrated in both natural and manmade structures is the three dimensional honeycomb configuration. StrataWeb® has been able to apply this honeycomb shape to soil reinforcement to solve some of the most difficult civil engineering problems associated with load support over soft soils, erosion on steep slopes and the lining of lagoons, drainage channels and landfills.

StrataDrain is composed of high flow, geonet-geotextile drainage composites manufactured with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) geonet and polypropylene nonwoven fabric bonded to one or both sides. The layers are bonded together with a fusion bond, which makes them highly resistant to layer separation, ensures excellent hydraulic performance, and minimizes the potential for failure planes caused by the fabric portion of the composite sliding on the drainage core.

StrataTex™ can be used for separation and/or filtration purposes. Produced from first quality raw materials, it provides the perfect balance of strength and separation in styles capable of functioning exceptionally well in a wide range of performance requirements. StrataTex is engineered to be mechanically and chemically durable in aggressive soil environments (pH ranges from 2-13).

Sleeve-It SD-1 is a pre-engineered fence post anchoring solution for enhancing below-grade foundational stability in fences placed on top of a segmental retaining wall (SRW). Because of its cantilevered form and other properties, using Sleeve-It during the SRW build permits a code-compliant fence to be constructed eliminating the 36” offset requirements of IBC 1015.2.
