Foam Pigs for Pipeline Cleaning

Power Brush - Cell Polyurethane Foam Pig

The Power Brush Pig is an open cell polyurethane foam pig that is completely enclosed with flame hardened steel bristles for maximum action. The polyurethane foam does not touch the pipe wall because it is completely coated with tough brushes, therefore, minimum tensile stress and wear is imposed on the foam. The bristles on this pig clean more efficiently than bristles on other foam pigs.

SUN - Efficient Aluminum Mandrel Pigs for Pipeline Maintenance

Efficient Aluminum Mandrel Pigs are essential tools for maintaining the integrity and optimal throughput efficiency of pipelines transporting gas and liquid products. These tools are crucial for various cleaning applications, including regular maintenance cleaning and debris removal. They are designed to remove paraffin wax and other contaminants that accumulate within the pipeline's interior. Additionally, they support effectiveness in batching processes by ensuring a clear separation of different product types, and play a significant role during commissioning and de-commissioning by aiding in the filling and displacing of products. The design incorporates bypass flow, allowing debris to be jetted forward, and is applicable for purging and liquid removal. These pigs also tackle issues like airlocks during the filling or removal process and are employed in drying pipelines post-hydrostatic testing. Furthermore, they can support gauging operations to detect diameter reductions, help apply internal coatings to reduce corrosion, and are integral in keeping new constructions clean, ready for operations. Proving or line sphere tools are used alongside for volume measurement and displacement in a pipeline segment.

SUN Pipeline Solutions - Pipeline Maintenance Spheres

SUN Pipeline Solutions specializes in providing a range of tools designed to enhance the flow and maintenance of pipelines. Central to their product offerings are pipeline spheres, also known as pig/scraper tools, available in solid diameters ranging from 2 to 6 inches and inflatable options from 6 to 42 inches. These spheres play a crucial role in various pipeline maintenance activities, such as regular cleaning runs to maintain pipeline integrity and throughput efficiency. They facilitate debris and paraffin removal, essential for maintaining unobstructed flow in the pipelines. Additionally, the spheres are used in bypass cleaning to efficiently flush debris, as well as in batching, purging, and liquid removal processes. Their applications extend to pipeline commissioning, preventing airlock conditions, drying post-hydrostatic testing, gauging internal pipeline diameter changes, and internally coating to mitigate corrosion. They are pivotal during new construction cleaning to ensure pipelines are devoid of contaminants before operations begin.
