Meta Aramid Nonwovens are a high strength synthetic fiber with a high melting point. Meta aramid fibers are inherently flame-resistant and will not melt or drip. Our meta aramid fibers are made with Dupont™ Nomex and generic fibers.

Superior Felt & Filtration carries a wide variety of synthetic felts to compliment traditional wool. In many cases, synthetics can offer a higher value and performance to wool. This type of felt has a 250 degrees Fahrenheit maximum operating temperature and is available with plain, singed, and glazed finishes. uperior is able to design and manufacture nonwovens to your specifications via the standard physical specs of weight, thickness, air flow, and density, but also offer various fiber types, deniers, and blends based on the application.
