Sweco - Pressure Vessels & Storage Tanks (ASME Code)

Sweco Fab has been fabricating multiple types of pressure vessels for the past 25 years in accordance with ASME Sec. VIII, Div 1 (Latest edition) and welded steel tanks per API 650 and 12F codes. Sweco Fab had fabricated vessels that fulfilled specifically to each customer’s requirements and will continue doing so in the future. Sweco Fab can fabricate pressure vessels made out of Carbon Steel (including Low Temp CS A350 LF2), Stainless Steel (304/L or 316/L) and Cr-Mo Grade 5 (A387 Grade 5). The sizes ranges from 6″ OD to 110″ OD with vessel thickness up to 2″ thick. Our shop can accommodate vessel weights up to 40,000 lbs (20 tons) max.

Sweco - Pig Launchers and Receivers for Pipeline Maintenance

Sweco Fab, Inc. specializes in the fabrication of Pig Launchers and Receivers, critical components in pipeline maintenance and product separation operations. With over 40 years of experience in the industry, the company adheres to ASME design standards, specifically ASME Code B31.4 and B31.8, ensuring products meet rigorous safety and quality protocols. These components are built using materials such as Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel, with barrel sizes ranging from 4” x 6” with a 150# rating to 48” x 54” with a 900# rating. Non-destructive exams, including X-ray, Liquid Penetrant Test, PWHT, and Hydro-test, are performed for quality assurance. Suitable for various pressures and temperatures, these products are versatile in cleaning pipelines and handling product separation. Notably, options are available with safety locking systems for hazardous environments like coal-bed methane gas production facilities.

Sweco - Spectacle and Line Blinds for Piping Systems

Spectacle and line blinds from SWECO offer reliable isolation for piping systems, conforming to API standards and ASME B31.3 specifications. These blinds range in size from 1 inch to 36 inches, with pressure classes from 150 lbs to 2500 lbs. Spectacle blinds, also known as figure eights, consist of two parts: the line blank and the ring spacer, providing secure shut-off capabilities. Manufactured following ASME Standard B16.48, SWECO's blinds ensure compatibility with ASME B16.5 flange sizes. They can be constructed using a variety of materials, including carbon steel and stainless steel, with finishes like mill machined or serrated. The company's computerized stress analysis aids in the custom design, ensuring their products withstand specified pressure-temperature combinations. SWECO advises on delivery times, offering both plate and forging options to meet customer needs.

Sweco - Orifice Fittings and Flange Unions for Flow Measurement

Sweco Fab, Inc. specializes in the production of high-quality orifice plates and flanges, which are critical components in flow measurement applications. These items are manufactured using a variety of materials including several grades of stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, and specialized alloys like Monel 400 and Inconel 600, optimizing them for diverse industrial requirements. The orifice plates feature bores that can be concentric, eccentric, or segmental, each meticulously designed to restrict and measure fluid flow accurately by inducing a pressure drop. Complementing these plates are orifice flanges that can be fully customized to match standards such as ASME B16.36 and tailored to client specifications. Sweco Fab also offers Orifice Flange Unions comprising two pressure-tap-equipped flanges, bolting sets, and orifice plates, ensuring precise flow conversion. Their products are key in numerous industries needing accurate flow control and measurement.

Sweco - Industrial ASME Code Strainers

Sweco Fab, Inc. specializes in the fabrication of strainers designed according to ASME B31.3 pressure piping codes. These strainers, including conical, line, and tee type versions, are critical components in fluid systems, removing impurities while supporting process efficiency. Manufactured using robust materials like carbon steel and stainless steel (304SS, 316SS), they cater to various industrial applications, featuring perforated metal designs and optional configurations with blowdown capabilities. With tailored options for casting materials, custom supports, and code compliance adaptability, these strainers are integral to maintaining operational integrity across diverse fluid systems. The company also offers comprehensive design support through computational stress analysis and flow rate calculations, ensuring precision in deployment. Spare parts, including interchangeable baskets for like-sized nozzles, enhance the system's versatility.
