Thermalate Advantages: Low Thermal Conductivity:  Saves energy and allows for more precise temperature control. High Heat Resistance: Thermalate is designed to operate at temperatures up to 550°F. High compressive strength: Thermalate will not take a compressive strength “set”, causing mold alignment problems, when subjected to extremely high molding pressures. Tough and durable:  More durable than Mica or Asbestos materials. Resist Oils and Fluids: Other absorbent insulators,  can deteriorate or alter their thermal conductivity.
