System S&P GmbH applications

As a supplier of single-source solutions, System S&P® GmbH offers all the equipment required for modern wastewater treatment. From domestic sewage plants (up to 50 inhabitants) to compact systems (up to 5,000 inhabitants) or larger sewage plants (30,000 inhabitants and more), the modular system ensures cost-effective planning and construction.

In recreational facilities, treatment plants are particularly sensitive areas, as there is a risk of guests being disturbed by smell, noise or unsightly buildings. Due to their compact design and ability to distribute the different treatment stages over several levels, System S&P® GmbH sewage plants are ideal for inconspicuous, space-saving installation in existing facilities or new-build projects. The aerobic process prevents guests being disturbed by unpleasant smells. In particularly sensitive areas, System S&P® GmbH can install biofilters to purify exhaust air. Rotating biological contactors (RBC) are reliable, quiet and low-odour even in thin mountain air at high altitudes, such as alpine terrain, or at high temperatures. Through the use of additional treatment stages, it is possible to reuse the purified wastewater, for example for irrigation or flushing toilets.

System S&P GmbH designs customised solutions for specialised wastewater systems. System S&P GmbH provides wastewater solutions for breweries, highly contaminated agricultural wastewater, hospital waste, and other special cases. Our RBC technology has already proven its efficiency in practice. Wastewater from hospitals is characterized by high levels of contamination by antibiotics and traces of other drugs, as well as comparatively high levels of disinfectants, the relative proportions of which change almost daily. The high mean cell residence time (sludge age), sessile biomass and self-regulating operation makes RBC technology the ideal biological stage. Ultimately, hospital staff should be able to devote themselves fully to patient care. System S&P® GmbH has already realized several systems for hospitals and has extensive experience in this sensitive area.
