Uvex - Hi-Flow Sand Filter
Filtration: The UVEX incorporates a hi-flow sand filter, which will remove particles from the tower water to at least 25 micron. The process of sand filtration also removes discoloration from the water resulting in a crystal clear tower / condenser sump. This constant filtration has real cost benefits in terms of the frequency and intensity of clean & chlorination works.
Uvex - Hi-Rate Sand Filter
The UVEX-C is ideal for sites where any chemical discharge to drain is prohibited or where a foul drain is unavailable. Like the UVEX-C-BRX, the UVEX-C is a comprehensive treatment package featuring the same powerful UV, Hi-rate sand filter, two-stage conductivity (blow-down) control, digital flow monitoring and PLC. Uvex - Cyclonic Separator
The UVEX incorporates a cyclonic separator from Lakos, a company renowned for making some of the best separators available. The Separator will remove particles from the tower water to at least 44 micron with also significant removal of 20 micron and some removal of ≤10 micron particles. This constant filtration has real cost benefits in terms of the frequency and intensity of clean & chlorination works on the tower. The inclusion of the cyclonic separator is also beneficial in terms of maintenance as – unlike bag or sand filters – no intervention is required.

Uvex - Medium Pressure Lamp UV System
Advanced UV: The CWU features at its heart a powerful medium pressure lamp UV system. The UV is sized to penetrate the sometimes poorer transmission conditions found in closed circuit water. In addition, a programmable wiper maintains the quartz sleeve (within which the lamp is located) in a clean condition.

Uvex - Reverse Osmosis (RO) Unit
Osmosis is a naturally occurring process found in (for example) human cell functioning, and is also the means by which water is conveyed to the leaves at the top of trees. If a solution of salts is separated from pure water by a thin semi-permeable membrane, the pure water passes through the membrane and tries to dilute the salt solution. If the salt solution is connected to a vertical pipe then the progressively diluted solution will fill the pipe until the osmotic pressure drawing the pure water through the membrane is the same head as the diluted solution.
Uvex - Rainwater Harvesting System
Rainwater harvesting involves the collection of rainwater for reuse. In the majority of situations the rainwater is captured in roof guttering and directed via a down pipe to a rainwater collection tank.
