Structural Data Recording Set (SDRS)
SDRS is the heart of the AN/ASH-37(v) system. The basic SDRS consists of the following units: Recorder-Converter, RO-601/ASH-37, Fixed and Rotary Wing Configurations Available, Microprocessor Controlled, Simultaneous Monitoring of 20 Channels, 3 Analog Inputs, 8 Discrete Inputs, 4 Strain Gage Inputs, Pitot and Static Pressure, 3 Axis Servo Accelerometer Data. Memory Unit, MU-938/ASH-37 (mounted above the Recorder-Converter), Capacities from 200K to 8M bytes, Uses Flash Memory, Built-in-Test (BIT) Functions, 80% Memory Full Indicator
Structural Health Monitoring System (SHMS)
SHMS is the airborne portion of SEI’s Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS). It consists of a Data Acquisition and Processing Unit (DAPU), a Data Storage Unit (DSU), and an optional Control/Display Unit (CDU). The DAPU has analog, discrete, and strain gauge inputs, discrete outputs, as well as RS-422 and ARINC 429 data buses. The DSU has 128 Mb of non-volatile memory, expandable to 256 Mb. The CDU has 16 keys and a 2 line, 16 character display, dimmable along with aircraft instruments. The SHMS low power consumption, light weight, and small size allow for easy aircraft installation.
Model KY-941/ASH-37(v) - Data Entry Keypad (DEK)
The Data Entry Keypad (DEK) is a microcontroller-based unit capable of storing up to 16 flight relevant data items, and sending this data to SEI's Structural Data Recording Set. To prevent error, all parameters may be customer specified to ensure entered data is within a predetermined range. It is compatible with both the AN/ASH-37(v) and AN/ASH-40 configurations.
Remote Storage Unit
PC Card Remote Storage Unit
Systems & Electronics, Inc. (SEI) PC Card Remote Storage Unit (RSU) provides a compact self-contained system to store and retrieve data from industry standard PCMCIA/ATA cards. It has been qualified to meet the most demanding MIL-STD-810 and RTCA DO-160 environments. It’s small, lightweight, rugged construction provides a reliable storage source for data. The access door has a locking mechanism with door open detect and PC Card shutdown features. Designed to MIL-STD-810 and RTCA/DO-160D
Data Storage Card (DSC)
Developed for use with the Structural Data Recorder Set, the DSC stores the acquired data for easy removal from the aircraft. The data is downloaded via the Ground Station Software.
