Tap-Score - Arsenic Speciation Water Testing Kit
Recommended by SimpleLab™ for targeted arsenic speciation testing to determine the oxidative state of arsenic in drinking water. This package is recommended for clients who have a confirmed total arsenic result above ~6 PPB (parts per billion). Removing arsenic from drinking water with a home treatment system requires determining whether the arsenic contamination is in the 3rd or 5th oxidation state. Arsenic III (also known as arsenite) is uncharged and difficult to remove with most treatment technologies. Arsenic V (also known as arsenate) is easier to remove. Knowing the form of arsenic in water can help you choose an effective treatment device.
Tap Score - Glyphosate Water Test Package
Recommended for targeted testing of glyphosate–the herbicide also frequently known as RoundUp. Glyphosate is the most commonly used herbicide in the United States. While data on the health effects of glyphosate remain scarce, scientists continue to monitor the effects of long-term exposure risks. This Tap Score water test package provides all required materials to properly collect and submit a sample for certified laboratory testing. Reported results will include detailed, quantified analysis of glyphosate by EPA 547 (or equivalent).
Tap Score - Microcystins Water Testing Package
Recommended by SimpleLab™ for targeted testing for microcystins in drinking water. Microcystins are one of the most common cyanotoxins–toxins produced by cyanobacteria (also called `blue-green algae). This testing package is recommended if your drinking water has been recently impacted by a harmful algal bloom (HAB).
Tap Score - Microplastics Water Testing Package
Recommended for targeted testing of microplastics in drinking water. Microplastics enter the drinking water supply from an array of pollution and waste pathways–such as from tires rubbing against pavement, synthetic clothes, paint dust and microfibers. The impacts of microplastics on human health and wildlife are not well understood.
